It sounds like a lovely devious plan, but I seriously doubt I could move faster than an elf. I suspect she would easily stop me.

Would you ever volunteer to fight Morgoth, after he had slain Fingolfin, and was suffering from the wounds Fingolfin had given him?

No way! At best, I might consider becoming a consultant to Tulkas (who is very much qualified for the job), meaning by my experience with that lot that I don't have to do anything useful, except make sure I don't annoy him with my platitudes to the degree that he directs his anger towards me before returning to his useful job.

Would you ever consider a career as air combat consultant to the Great Eagles of the Misty Mountains to aid them in their confrontation with Sauron's Fell Beasts?

Oh, I'm sure they can manage very well without my bungling up the works. I can just imagine the mess I could create .... *rubs hands together* .... It might actually be fun.

Would you ever accompany Bill the Pony back to Bree from the mines of Moria?

Bill being sorta "four-wheel-drive", I wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in Angband in being able to follow him. I don't want to think in which part of the wilds west of the Misty Mountains I would still be stumbling across by the time that Bill would be being fed by that scatterbrain Barliman Butterbur!

Would you ever consider replacing Barliman Butterbur as host of the Prancing Pony?

I might, but only if I could be guaranteed the inn wouldn't be visited by some weird dudes in patchy black cloaks. It's not that I actually mind weird dudes in patchy black cloaks, but they when they joined in with the pub sing-a-long, they quickly proved they had no musical talent whatsoever.

Would you ever consider going under cover in Angband to suss out Morgoth's next move?

Nope. The terms "under cover" and "Angband" just do not fit into the same universe, as far as I can see.

Would you ever consider running for Mayor of the Shire, perhaps even against Sam Gamgee?

Very bad idea. Nobody has ever "accused" my "singing" to have lullaby qualities. :hide:

Would you ever try to convince the post-Saruman Hobbits of the benefits of heavy industry?

Lol

Nope... I am not so convinced about said “benefits” myself!

Would you ever accept an assignment from Gondor to go undercover as an orc and gather intel from behind enemy lines?

Nope. My progress towards Hobbit-similarity is too far advanced for even the best make-up-artists to be able to convert me into a believable Orc.

Would you ever consider opening an aerobics (I know, this is so terribly eighties) studio in the Shire?

:hide: I am to aerobics what you are to undercover espionage.

Would you ever cater an Orc after-battle feast?

Since the word "finicky" does not exist in the Orc dictionary, they would probably even eat my cooking. But considering their general manners, I would look for subcontractors to do the actual on-site catering.

Would you ever consider organizing Warg races something along the lines of real-life Greyhound races?

I probably wouldn't even be able to get close enough to them, let alone organize a race!

Would you ever try to ride Shadowfax while Gandalf was away?

I doubt it. I don't think Shadowfax would allow me on board.

Would you steal the shards of Narsil so it couldn't be reforged?

Nah. My wife would probably reject my bringing by a reforged Narsil to our abode as making our clutter worse, never mind stuff that looks like scrap metal (off to the local recycling facility with that!).

Would you ever consider babysitting young Hobbits?
