Mae Govannen. Greetings fellow Middle-Earthlings! I am very excited to be here and hope to have a lot of fun. Well since this forum is for the characters, here is mine.
Name: Aruvale (pronounced a-ru-va-lay)
Gender: female
Age: about 2500. If you translate that to human years, it's about 21
Race: As you can tell by her age she is an elf
Description: She has long flowing hair that looks as if it is woven of gold. Her twinkling eyes are the color of the sky, but change to lavenders and forest greens depending on her mood. Her lips are perfectly shaped with a tint of bright pink rose and her nose is fine but rounded - just the right size. She is tall and slender but amazingly strong and sturdy for her stature. Her feet are shapely and firm from many years of walking barefoot through the forests. She dresses in colors of blues and greens, but occasionally wears silvers, browns and reds. Out of the metals she prefers silver which she wears all the time; except when she wears greens, then she always wears gold. She can always be seen wearing a silver ring set with a midnight diamond in the center.
History: She was born in Rivendell to some fairly close kin of Elrond. Even though she loves Imladris, she prefers to spend most of her time in Lothlorien, against her father's wishes. He believes it's to dangerous for her to be constantly going back and forth between the two hidden cities. He also doesn't wish for her to be away from home for long periods of time. She has an older sister who acts like mother since her real mother past away 700 years earlier.
Personality: She is outgoing, but prefers to be alone. She loves to have a good time and is very adventurous, which can be a bad thing sometimes. She is very artistic and loves to draw, paint, sing and dance. She is also very athletic, being one of the best archer and a swift runner. She is an expert on horseback and prefers to ride bare back. She is kind and caring with a love in her heart for all of nature and it's beauty. She particularly loves the fall and most of her paintings are of the fall wonders of Lorien and Imladris. She has a nightingale that is one of her best friendsAnother one of her good friends is a guy (who's name I have not yet thought of), but their relationship is more than a friendship, although they both don't wish to mention it.
Anything else - Her favourite outfit is a dark sky blue dress. The sleeves are long and and the rest of it is fitting and flowing. It has a low v-neck. It is trimmed around the hem neck and sleeves with a silver flower design. Underneath is a forest green underdress. The sleeves of it are long and come together at a point on top of the hand. They are long enough to be seen under the blue dress. The neck line is a u-shape that can be seen under the top dress. The sleeve ends and neck are also trimmed with the same silver flower design. She usually walks barefoot, but when she wears shoes, they are boots of cloth that are the same color as her underdress. They are laced up with silver cord.
