Name: Eldarion Narie (named for his father)
~Translation~: Of the Elves; fiery.

Race: Elf.

Age: 3,592

Appearance: Eldarion, known affectionately as “Eldar”, by many, is a tall, somewhat dark-looking (if needed) fellow. His smooth, jet black hair stops at his shoulders, and, more often than not, falls over intensely ice blue eyes. He has a very muscled, athletic figure, and his skin is handsomely tanned, for he spends a lot of his time outdoors, being the ranger that he is. He can usually be seen donning clothing of Elven making, in different shades of blue, or plain black, which he’s been told he looks strikingly attractive... not that he cares all that much how he looks. But, other times, when out traveling in the Wild, he throws on weatherbeaten greys or blacks as camoflague(sp?).

Weapons: His weapon is not your average, everyday sword... no, no. He wields a double-sided longsword, the hilt a leather-wrapped silver, with a small crest of the Narie family etched into it, and the blade forged of ice, which only he can control. It’s as keen as any other sword, and will listen to none but the tall, mysterious ranger.

Skills: Master swordsmanship, horseback riding, some archery, and the ability to create and manipulate water and ice. Has learned for the past fifteen or sixteen years the ways of a ship, for he spends time on the ship of his beloved, Captain Itarille Ellie Narie (formerly of Tasartir.)

Place of Residence: Mirkwood, currently (at times, on The Celeb-Gil)

Parents (brief): His mother was Anarien Alagos, and his father was, as mentioned, Eldarion Narie. Eldarion (Sr.) was of rather noble blood, as was Anarien, and both were introduced at one of King Thranduil’s many royal banquets. Instantly they found more in common than they could have ever thought possible, and spent much time together, until not long after when they were wed.

Personality: There’s lots to say about Eldar’s personality, because he can have many moods, depending on the day. Normally, he’s kind, fairly easy-going, and very cautious to be on his guard at all times... until a certain pirate elf just happens to catch him off his guard...
In times of battle, he picks up the most dangerous attitude, and tries to speak little, as not to distract himself from his target. He completely adores Itarille (not to mention his two teenage children and infant), and would do anything for her, so when around her, he seems to go into a state of utter adoration of the pirate elf captain, and he turns soft-spoken, gentle, and somewhat more overly-protective than usual.

Likes: His stallion, Sparrow, his home in Mirkwood, traveling, his family...

Dislikes: Being away from his home and family for long periods of time, injustice, the smell of orc blood...

Weakness(es): A certain pirate elf... and three certain elflings.

History: Eldar’s history is a long story to be told. But here it will be condensed, for I know not how it would all fit... ~.^

It first began with the choosing of four from the four main elements - fire, water, air, earth. These Four would go to their specific temples (Temple of Fire, Temple of Earth, etc.) to train when they were ‘of age’, and when old enough they would be appointed to guard that specific temple. Then, when they became Mages of their element, they would become the mentors for the new generation of Chosen. Eldar was one of these Four.

At age fifteen, he was startled to find that he had been chosen as the representative and guardian-in-training for the element of water. His sister, Ana, was chosen for fire, his good friend Araglas (profile coming soon) was chosen for earth, and their friend, Valia, was chosen for air. They were guardians-to-be of their realm - they watched over it, and made certain that any Shadows(*) were eliminated.

While riding with Ana in their forest one day, Eldar and his sister were surrounded by a large band of Orcs. At this point, they were both in their last year of training... though, neither were prepared for the sudden attack. Eldar was shot from his horse, and killed. Ana was in such a state of shock at her brother laying nearly-lifeless on the ground, that she went into a rage, taking down the Orcs at once with her power of flame. She knelt to heal him, but he stayed her hand...

“It’s no use, Ana,” he said feebly. “It’s no use.”

She froze as her brother held her hand, and slowly drifted into the nothingness of death. However, this was not the end of Eldarion Narie... For in death, he found not darkness and doubt... but the next life. He felt life in him again, after three thousand years, and the Gods (with much persuasion from one called Whitefire) released him from this fate. He was still the tall, dark, handsome figure he had been before, but because of his power to shapeshift, the first form he was sent back in was a white wolf... from then on, this would be his symbol and title - The White Wolf.

He met up with Ana again, saying they had released him from the clutches of death. He embraced his sister tightly, and they began chatting about the goings-on that he had missed over three thousand years. Ana explained with grief that Valia had passed into Shadow against her will, and that there was no stopping her. An Elemental on the side of the wicked was no minor thing, you see. She also mentioned she had lost contact with Araglas a few months back, and knew not where he’d ended up. As he listened to Ana, in his White Wolf form, trudging along at her side, they met up with someone they did not expect...

...a pirate. She was no ruffian of the Corsair’s ships, but an elf, as they themselves were. Eldar wandered up to the young woman, and Ana followed behind. The White Wolf’s icy blue eyes observed the pirate with interest, sitting down in the sand of the beach. Ana introduced herself, and the wolf at her side as her brother.

“Your... brother?” the pirate inquired, quirking an eyebrow at the animal. Suddenly, Eldar changed forms, letting it slip upward into the form of a tall, hooded figure with illuminated blue eyes. His hair fell over his eyes, as he bowed, and offered his name. He smiled a little, brushing his hood back as she introduced herself as Captain Itarille Ellie Tasartir, of the Celeb-Gil, the Silver Star.

Over time, the pirate and the ranger grew very close. They became best friends, at first, and often would be accused of flirting with each other. No harm done, of course, a while after their meeting, Eldar confessed his love for Itarille, and she admitted hers in return. After a few months, Eldar proposed on Christmas Day, relieved to hear the answer of ‘yes’ from a blown-away Itarille. Eldar’s life took a turn for the good, for not long after their marriage, he discovered he was a father-to-be. Nine months later or so, he was able to gently hold his son, Erynion, and daughter, Aeariel, a set of twins, both with their father’s hair and eyes.

As the twins grew, so did Eldar’s protective nature. He’d always been right at his wife’s side when danger threatened, but now he felt he had to be two more times as protective as he already was.

Eldar now lives the life of a brother, an uncle, a ranger, father of three, and loving husband, and currently resides in Mirkwood with his siblings, children, and wife, with the new addition of Hera, their infant daughter. Occasionally he will travel with them all on the Celeb-Gil, or even just go riding wherever the road leads, Itarille, Ana, and Araglas beside him.[/b]

Of course, both me and my pirate are thrilled to see a profile of Eldar up here. She does send her love (and many other things that are much too inappropriate and piratical in nature to be mentioned) as I send you HUGS! for writing this.

Yes, we do loff you and your rangers very much, dear. ;D

Ta!
