"This is amazing," Aralas said, catching herself and speaking in the Common Tongue once again. Then Gimli gave out a cry and ran into a room. "What's going on?" she asked.

Aralas followed Gimli. "No, no," Gimli cried. "Here lies Balin, son of Fundin, lord of Moria. He is dead then. It is as I feared," Gandalf said, reading the dwarvish runes. "Balin. I know that name," Aralas said. She muttered the name several times, thinking back. "Balin. BALIN! Oh, Balin," she said, finally remembering. "And there were two other dwarves he was talking to. Dwalin? Thor..on? Thoren? No, that doesn't sound quite right. Must be... Thorin!" Gimli looked up. "You knew Thorin? And Balin and Dwalin?" he asked. "No, not really. My father gave orders to capture them in Mirkwood when I was younger. For what reason, I don't know, but they escaped. I saw them escaping, but I didn't stop them, because they weren't doing anything wrong in the first place," Aralas said casually.

"Really? That is very interesting!" Lessien exclaimed."I saw them in the Shire years ago." She heard loud bangs and glanced up. "Gandalf what is that? It sounds bad!"

"We must move on, we cannot linger," Aralas heard her brother say. Gandalf had picked up a book and started reading it out loud. "They have taken the Bridge and the second hall. We have barred the gates, but cannot hold them for long. The ground shakes. Drums. Drums in the deep. We cannot get out." Aralas looked around, frightened. "A shadow moves in the dark. We cannot get out. They are coming," Gandalf said with his eyes widened. He looked up. Aralas glanced around and saw Pippin touch a skeleton. "Don-" she started but it was too late. The whole thing went down. Clangs of metal were heard but after that, nothing. Anariel breathed a sigh of relief and so did Aragorn and Boromir. Gandalf stepped toward the hobbit. "Fool of a Took! Throw yourself in next time, and rid us of your stupidity!" he said. Suddenly they heard something. "Drums...drums in the deep! We cannot get out," Aralas echoed, stepping back from the well. She stumbled back and she faintly heard Sam yell "Frodo!" Legolas stepped toward his sister and pushed her behind him. "Orcs!" he cried. Aralas snapped back into the present. Aralas drew her knives and took a deep breath as the men tried to bar the door. Anariel went over to help them and when they were done she stepped back and drew her sword.
