Eldaraien heard screaming and shouting, and ran to the place where it came from. When she came there, she saw that there were several Wargs lying dead there, killed by the horse of Alexandra. But a few of them were still alive, and she creeped to them with her sword in her right hand, and with her dagger in her left hand.

Alaana screamed as a warg attacked her and finnally was thrown from her horse and over the edge of a cliff holding on with one hand she said"Elegost ride swiftly to rohan tell them I am here. then
the only thing left of her was a small ribbon like strip of cloth from her dress and her pendant it's chain had fallen while the pendant and the strip of cloth from her dress were snagged by a stick.
