He listened to their answers and cleared his throat. Before he managed to say anything a horse crashed through the underbrush, bleeding heavily. He skid to a stop beside Mursan, nearly crushing Delhu beneath his hooves.

Tenna gasped, and jumped in surprise as the large animal came crashing into sight. She took a hold of Belle's reins, as the mare had began neighing, and prancing about at the sudden appearance of the new horse.
"Aiya!" she exclaimed, tugging the half-rearing mare down to all fours. "Daro, Belle!"
The mare immediately froze at the elvish word, and nudged her mistress in apology. She looked at the injured horse, then at the others, who, for the most part, had their weapons drawn and at the ready.
"You draw your weapons at a wounded animal?" she arched a slender brow in confusion at them, and looked back up at the horse that Mursan had called 'Beinroch.' She stepped forward and reached out to touch the horse on the nose gently, but froze and looked at Mursan.
"May I?" she asked, glancing at his equine companion.
