My character: Morwen
Age: 15
Occupation: Servant of the Court
Race: Rohirrim
Appearance: Blue-gray eyes; long, wavy (well more like frizzy) blond hair. I don't know what the average size of a 15-year-old would be, but whatever it is, that's how tall she is. 
Personality: She is kind and caring, but also very curious and brave.
Weapons: She has been trained a little with a sword, but is not very good.
Backround: Her mother was a servant of the late Lady Morwen (Theoden's mother) and named her child after her. Morwen has been working in the court all of her life. While she usually does simple chores, Morwen also gets to spend coveted time in the stables caring for the horses. She also looks up to Lady Eowyn.
Morwen walked outside of the palace, carrying towels to the houses of the new quests. It was her job to take care of the visitors and their housings. Morwen was personally not very happy to be out of the palace, but she was curious about why these guests were here. They seemed to be dressed for war; there had been whispers of quarrels with Orcs recently._________________ <center> all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us

Lothwen walked among the houses, making sure that everyone had a sutible place to stay. Along the way, she met some villagers who were wounded and stopped to bind their wounds with herbs from a pouch at her waist. Near one of the houses, she saw a woman with long blonde hair. "Hello," said Lothwen, walking up to her. "What is your name?"

Morwen looked up in awe at the strange visitor. She felt the breath had been sucked out of her, but found the courage to say,
"Morwen. Morwen is my name, I'm a servant of the court. I am to help you in anyway possible."
She nervously tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, wondering once again why they had come.

"It is nice to meet you, Morwen," said Lothwen, smiling kindly at her. "Thank you for the offer, but I am in no need of help at the moment." Peering keenly at her, Lothwen seemed to sense that Morwen was wondering why they came here. "Our village was attacked by Orcs," she explained. "Orcs of the traitor Saurman. We came here for saftey and healing of the wounded."

Orcs!, thought Morwen.
"Then the rumore are true?" she asked. A million more questions raced through her mind. Are we in danger? What is King Theoden going to do about this?

"The rumors?" Lothwen questioned. "I do not know what rumors you have heard." She 'heard' countless questions floating around in Morwen's head. Lothwen smiled. So she was curious by nature. "I do not think that you are in danger at the moment," said Lothwen, answering one of the questions. "And I don't know what your king will do. All we can do is watch. . .and wait."
