He smiled at her face.
"All the better for seeing you."
He brushed back her hair and felt her skin. It was cold.
"More importantly how are you? You feel cold to the touch."

"I'm okay," said Tindomerel, shaking still from the chills, "I think..."
She shook more, the chills seemed normal to her now. She tried to sit up, but she failed to get up. She tried a second time, finally able to sit up.
"Come here," she said, "You owe me a kiss."

(o.o Oh dangit! >< MSN not working.... *claws and growls at it*)
Arinae new it would take time, a few days even perhaps, for Gondor to answer their call. The Rohirrim force was remaining strong, but their provisions were already becoming scares, and would have to be rationed.
After scraping the heavy sweat off her steed, Arinae placed a blanket over him, tying it securely with a length of rope, and released Stardance to graze or rest where he wished. She herself watched the enemy lines, the leaders having finally controlled their orcs, though chaos still dwelt farther back, where a fight had broken out. "That ought to keep them occupied..." she murmured with a slight smirk to herself.

Jax looked down at the fight, a devous idea sprining into his mind as a smile formed on his face.
Being sure no one saw him he snuck out of the camp and around towards the orc armies. Taking an orc arrow and placing it in a borrowed bow he shot it far off, hitting one of the orcs.
He quickly hid and successfully stayed out of sight as the orcs looked around for the culpret. He could hear them yelling but couldn't make out what they were saying. Soon another small fight started up, giving him the distraction he needed to get back to his camp before being noticed.

Rhayader smiled, leaned forward and gave her a long kiss.
"I have missed you. I almost didn't make it back."

"I've missed you too," said Tindomerel, smiling back and him, after enjoying the kiss, "I'm not sure about Nimloth though. When I was worrying about you, she was snoring and whistling through her nose, all right in my ear."
Nimloth looked up at Tindomerel, blinking innacently. The elf rolled her eyes at the she-wolf, who put her head back down.
"What happened?" asked Tindomerel, sitting up taller, worried intastly, "You didn't run into any trouble, did you?"
Her fever seemed to have disappeared and her breathing was nearly as calm and controled as normal, but her chills remained, making her shake violently every few seconds.

Arinae noticed what Jax had accomplished and she smiled slightly, nodding towards him, "an excellent idea, my friend.... reckless, but these are desperate moments, where a few reckless things must be done..." After the brief words, Arinae called for a horse, deciding to spare Stardance's strength for when battle broke out, and climbed upon the fidgety mare that was given her. Slowly she made a round of each camp, taking care to speak encouragingly with any she might see downcast or wounded.
"My lady..." one rider addressed her, a youth, barely of age for battle, "What would happen to those in Edoras if we were to fail?"
"It would be a sad sight, but let us not look at what might happen if we fail, let us see to it that we stand our ground and succeed, for no matter the numbers, when the will is there, there is always a way..." she replied with a nod and an encouraging smile, though inside she had the same wonderings as the youth before her.
She rode forward again, the mare stubborn to obey at first. Suddenly it dawned on Arinae, that many of the men were twice her age, twice as experianced, yet they still looked up to her. It was an overwhelming feeling, almost more than she could take. "What if I failed them..." she murmured to herself. Many would have filled this task far better than I could have....
She let out a wearied sigh, after having gone through the camps nearly the whole day, night setting in, her only guide around the area being the dim fires, though they kept them to a minimum, sitting far back from them so as to avoid being targeted more easily.
Dismounting, Arinae released the mare and sank down a small distance from a fire, shivering for a moment from the chill, which caused her shoulder to ache dully, though her mind was far too preoccuppied with other thoughts to pay it much heed.

Rhayader smiled at the wolf then hugged Tindomerel tightly to keep her warmer.
"I just ran into a few men. They killed the beacon guards and tried to ambush me."

The first night came over the riders from Gondor. A silver moon was waxing behind them on the east and the fields infront of them had been colourd grey. Shortly before midnight they stopped for a rest on the edge of Eastfold. Men and beast had been weary.
They found a place to make camp between two broader shoulders of the White Mountains set in a lofty hillock. Many scattered trees had been around and they provided good cover from watchful eyes. Watchmen and scouts had been sent out by the command of Aemornion.
"Tomorrow at this time we should reach Meduseld and from there we will be despached where needed. Take some rest while you can, we ride at the first sight of grey light on the east" said Aemornion to the men while he dismounted.
A small fire was kindled where they ate.
The camp was peaceful and soon man and horse slept on the field slighty uneasy, but weary after the whole day's ride it was not hard to sleep in. A slight murmur of a silent song could be heard among the men that had been awake by the fire. Aemornion listened to it while sitting underneath a tree and gazing throughout the plains in silence.
"You should rest old friend" said Othar while bringing a cup of warm brew to him. Aemornion took it greatfully and returned a slight smile "I can barely close my eyes my brother" he said in a low voice while casting his gaze towards the fields again "The land is tense and hard. Many things bestow it and it worries me for I do not know what we will find on our way"
Othar nodded and laid down while pulling the cloak closer around him "I know what you mean captain" he sighed and turned his gaze also towards the fields. "Lindan reported to me that he saw a disturbance on the far north under the Misty Mountains while he was scouting the area, but he could not make out was it friend of foe" he furrowed his brow slightly "but since one bad turn is often followed by another i wouldnt be amazed if it was hostile"
Aemornion looked towards the north as Othar spoke the words. "Have we been noticed perhaps?" he asked after a while.
Othar shook his head "We are barely noticible in this bush even with the fire going" then he looked at the camp-place where it was burning "but now only idle smoke rises from it. We are secure for now."
"Aye, we are for now, but we cannot expect to go unnoticed by day. Not while we come with such a strong host" said Aemornion with a low voice and pulled himself down closer to the ground "Lets just hope for a good turn of events. We cannot expect more for now until we wont know the true state of things." he said with a slight sigh "And lets hope the Valar favour us and spare us of unneeded deaths and sorrows" With that he closed his eyes and forced himself to some rest while Othar Remained silent and kept his gaze on the horizon idly.

((I'll play Arwen again when you reach Edoras, Aemornion. Unless anyone else want too...))
"Are you alright?" asked Tindomerel, looking up at Rhayader, "They did hurt you, did they? Because if they did..."
She fell into a stream of swear words in every tongue she knew. She nuzzled into Rhayader's arms, still swearing at the men who attacked him. She still shivered, not really realizing it.
((EDIT: I'm going to have to go soon...))
