Everytime you make a one word post...a cactus dies

After seeing the other elves appear Niell quickly turned and dissapeared out of a side entrance that was partially hidden by overgrown foliage. He walked down the road and slipped out of the city. He walked into a particulary thick group of trees where two black horses were standing. Grabbing the mane of one he tried to swing onto its back and failed miserably. He let out a cry as his wounds were upset by the movement and dropped back to the ground, leaning on the horse for support.

Tahlavain kept her eye on Niell and noticed him leave. Ignoring the others and the pain in her shoulder, she walked swiftly after him. She had just stepped into the trees when she heard a cry and saw him fall back down from his horse.

Feeling guilty and still failing to see the difference between him and her own kind, Tahlavain walked over and put a hand on his shoulder. "If you let me heal you, I will let you go on your way..." she spoke in a quiet voice.

Niell looked back at her, "and what reason do I have to trust you?" He looked down at his bleeding stomach, "I can't think of any."

Niell frowned, "I think I'll take my chances," he said angrily. He turned back to the horse and attempted to mount again. Once more failing miserably.

Tahlavain shook her head, mumbling something about men being stubborn. She took him by the shoulders, seeming to have forgotten about her own shoulder, and sat him down. "Now... if you allow me... " She took a phial of clear liquid from her pocket and poured some of the contents onto a cloth. "Now if you show me your wounds, it won't take long to heal them, but if you keep being stubborn and refusing, I shall have to tie you to a tree and do all the work on my own..." Her eyes gave off a slight sparkle of humor, but her face and voice where firm and somewhat commanding.

"No, I don't need to worry about myself, I'm not the one about to ride away on a horse to a place which probably knows nothing of good healing..." Tahlavain mumbled. "Now allow me to take care of thouse wounds or I'll be forced to drag you back into the city and have an elder deal with you..." she threatened.
