Rienna, who was not very skilled with any weapon, swung haphazardly at the oncoming orcs, looking wildly around for any help. Edoras would be overrun soon if no help came. A flash of light caught her eye and she turned to see a man with a blade that glowed slightly.

By pure luck, Rienna managed to stab an orc right through his midsection and stared in shock as he gurgled unpleasantly and fell to the ground. She looked up at the man. "I thank you, but others need your assistance more," she told him. "I fear for the children and the elderly."

Theodwyn looked as more orcs came, and she backed away. "Lathwen! Aefen! Get out of the house now!" She ordered her sisters. "Find your brother!"

She blocked two swords, and stabbed an Orc, and blocked the doorway from them. Her blue eyes had darkened considerably with anger and frustration, but you couldn't tell it from the way she fought.

Battling with the orcs was taking her energy away from her quickly, since she was still tired. But she knew to keep her sisters safe, she had to keep going. Killing another orc, she spun, and managed to decapatiate another and blocked a sword in less than twenty seconds. She continued to fight strongly.

Rienna nodded. "I cannot promise that my assistance will be a great asset to you," she said, smiling a little, "but I shall do my best." She glanced back at her house, but her father was half-deaf and would not awake, and the orcs seemed to have no interest in entering.

She looked at him, before turning her head slightly to see her sisters near the doorway. She turned back to the man. "Thank you.." she whispered, before killing an orc that got too close to her for her taste. Aefen and Lathwen stuck alongside the house, and Theodwyn moved and defended them.

Deawen heard the fighting get closer by now others had taken up arms and joined that fight. Deawen ran to her room and grabbed her great bow and quivver. she ran to the front of the hall to the platform she knocked an arrow and aimed then realsed the arrow whined and planted it self into an orc just about to slash a man with a glowing sword. the orc feel gurgling. satifaction made her smile as she knocked a second arrow and let it fly to a second orc as it charged up the stairway.

Rienna fought her way through the orcs until she reached the foot of the stairs leading up to the Golden Hall. Then she turned and tried to hold them, determined that no orcs would reach Meduseld if she oculd help it.

Deawen took a deep breath as she pulled the taunt string back her arms carefuly and steadily in fluid motions. she fired the arrow, it found it's mark. Deawen saw and orc reaching the middle parts of the stairs she reached down into her quiver and felt no more arrowsshe gulped she did not bring a sword or knife she ran back inside. it was chaos people and soldiers moving about in a panicked rythim Deawen saw her Brother Adrod " adrod quick to the stairs they are coming up the stairs!" she said halfway draging him to the doorway. Adrod was a soldier a good one at that he laughed and ran after Deawen " this is no time to be laughing!" she hissed Adrod just chuckled more " no but tis a good day for our enemies to die!" he called charging down the stairs with other soldiers and men at arms. Deawen watched her foolishly eager brother charge into battle as the Great doors shut . she blinked and dashed to aside door leading to the stables. the horses whickered and stamped knowing battle called them she passsed quickly to her own horses stall "bredol!" she whispered the horse nickered to her as she found her way around the stables looking for armor for her horse.

Theodwyn defended her sisters and they soon heard a familar voice. "Aefen, Lathwen,Theodwyn!"

"Leodthain." The relief could be heard in the youngest two's voices. Theodwyn looked around to make sure they weren't folowed, and turned to the eighteen year old. "How is this possible?"

He shook his head. "I don't know, Theodwyn...but Lathwen and Aefen cannot remain in Edoras."

"And you know I cannot leave my duty, brother." Theodwyn said. Leodthain turned to her, and his eyes widened. She turned, and saw a particulary large Orc ready to slam his sword down at her. Bringing her sword up, she blocked it, and Leodthain moved to attack.

Halfway up the stairs, Rienna fought desperately, now having sustained several small cuts and scrapes. She hoped help came very soon.

Nenya sprinted towards the Golden Hall, cutting down orcs. She caught sight of two of her men. "Quick!" she yelled. "Into the hall!"
Nenya would not leave her king undefended, she raised her sword and charged towards the golden double doors.

Leodthain cut the Orc's arm deeply, and Theodwyn moved out of the way as the Orc yowled in pain. She shook her head, before, raising her sword and stabbing the Orc in the heart, and ducked her head, as Leodthain swung his sword, cutting the Orc's throat deeply.

She pulled her sword out, just as the Orc fell to the ground, and she looked disgusted, before turning back to the two younger sisters and her brother.

Nenya ducked another orc attack, but did'nt see the attack from behind.
Suddenly she was knocked to the floor, an orc towering over her. Nenya raised her leg, kicking his leg away and rolling out. She thrusted her sword into his stomach, knocking him back.
"Are you ok Captain Nenya?" asked a nearby guard. Helping his leader up. "Yea, thanks. Quick, break into the buildings, we gotta rescue those trapped!" replied Nenya, pointing at thatched homes, screaming children staring out the window.
The guard nodded and charged to help a family of 4.

Rienna spun to counter three Uruk-hai at once, and was tripped, falling painfully on the stairs. She rolled away from a stab and her sword clattered away down the stairs. Unarmed, she scrambled to her feet, surrounded now by grinning Uruk-hai.

Nenya spotted an Unarmed girl surrounded by uruks.
"Hey!" she yelled, sprinting towards the dirty orcs. They span round, Nenya chucked her sword, it planted itself into a uruks Neck, he squeled and dropped to the floor, Nenya grabbed a sword at the bottom of the stairs and tossed it to the girl (Rienna).
