Rhayader waited for everyone to pass him.
"Lead them on, I'll hold them off."
He pulled out his bow and notched an arrow.
"Go!"
He fired his shot down the tunnel and heard a scream come from a goblin. He then began firing rapidly.

Arinae stopped and glanced forward then back to Rhayader, "You can't hold them off on your own!" Stardance was now at the hieght of frantically attempting to get away, and was kicking any goblin in reach.

He shook his head at her.
"Trust me i'll be fine. The small entrance gives me the advantage. Go!"
He fired another arrow and quickly reloded and fired again.
"What are you waiting for? You need to get to Rohan, Then go!"

"Be safe, mellon nin..." Arinae hesitated then turned, running down the tunnel after Corus.

He watched her run up the stars and waved.
"I will!"
He turned to the hoard running toward him, hissing as they ran. He launched arrow after arrow at them killing ranks of them. The goblin bodies began to litter the floor and Rhayader smiled. The goblins were getting closer but Rhayader stood his ground and continued to fire his arrows.

Suddenly a strong hand grabbed his shoulder turning him around and pushing up the stairs, Corus fired his bow and killed a goblin.

"They were close enough to find out on their own, so now get your legs moving as I repay some old debts!"

Corus loaded his bow and shot again stepping back in the stairs.

Rhavaniel notched an arrow, and shot one of the goblins, arrows finding the target with ease.

Arinae glanced at Corus, "Am I to go on while all others stay back and remain to fight? I think not!" She turned and fought a steady onslaught of goblins.

Rhayader looked at Corus with slight confusion. Questions could wait. He turned to look at the Goblins, some getting to the foot of the stars.
He fired his last arrows as he walked up the stars. When he ran out he called to Corus.
"I'm out of arrows."
He threw his bow on his back.
"Come on"
He turned to run up the stars when he heard arrows whistle threw the air and hit him in his back. He looked at the wound and cringed. He had to keep running. He pushed himself up and felt another arrow hit his thigh.
Rhayader cried out in pain but kept moving up the stairs.

Corus drew his scimitar putting his crossbow on his back and sliced few of the goblins in the head before beginning to retreat, he saw Rhrayader in trouble and since he wasn`t particularry tired he ran to him.

"Can you move faster or do I have to carry you?"

Arinae grimaced upon seeing the arrows hit Rhayader. "Corus, keep the goblins back, and I'll get Rhayader out of here..." she muttered. After struggling for a bit, she helped Rhayader onto Stardance, then lead the horse quickly up the stairs and down the tunnel.

He continued to run as best he could.

"No you aren't. You'll lose too much blood and only make the arrows tear deeper if you run, now stay on that horse and Corus... how much farther till we get out of this hole of filth?" Arinae demanded.

"Well I guess I have a lot to pay for so I`ll be the last and get the ranger out of here since he is wounded..."

Corus drew his dagger as they were in the head of the stairs and took a step forwards slashing a goblins throat open with his scimitar, then he quickly swinged again hitting another in the face, but was soon attacked by a bigger one with an axe. He blocked the axe with his scimitar and then thrusted his dagger into the goblins guts, he drew backwards seeing the others disappear behind the corner.

He ran afte them and reached them, he looked at the woman with slight smile as she presented the question.

"Daylight should be around a few corners.."

"Good," Arinae gritted her teeth and willed herself to calm down for the sake of Stardance, who was sensing her nervousness and beginning to sidestep and resist her lead. The steed calmed and trotted obediantly, careful of the load he was carrying, while Arinae ran.

Rhayader jumped off the horse as the tunnels became a bit too thin for him to keep his head.
He held onto the horse for support and jogged after them.
