"Anxious to chop more heads?"
Corus said as he walked up to Aemornion with his hood up.

Aemornion's brows furrowed slightly as he percieved a voice he didn't hear for a longer while speak by his side obviously directed at him.
"Nay...." he spoke in a low tone while slowly he shook his head. His gaze still directed towards the darkness "I find no pleasure in killing as it may seem in someones eyes. The only reason I kill is in an act of defence..... and perhaps revenge. Once you find yourself in the middle of a battle even the most noble and generous man turns into an beast" he murmured out the last part of the sentence "I've seen it too many times..." he added

"That`s why I don`t follow any code of honour because in battle everything like that is abandoned and I know that my opponents don`t follow such codes anyway..."
Corus said smiling.

"That certainly they don't, the filth of Morgoth" replied Aemornion to Corus muttering. His gaze wandered left and right and what it seemed he noticed torch lights approach like an river of fire from the northeast. "For them I show no mercy nor pick a way they will die. Call me ruthless and perhaps I am nothing better then they are in a battle but one thing is certain, die they must for there is no good in them, only pure evil. Evil that has nothing to seek in the free lands amongst fair people"

Corus hmped.
"Define evil"
Corus said and turned away, he walked along the wall quietly leaving the question in the air.

Arinae paused, having been passing nearby, and she turned at Curunir's words. Taking that moment of opportunity to speak, she kept her voice low, her expression calm.
"I shall define it clearly... evil is nothing, actually... evil is a name given to the lack of good. Just as the cold is lack of heat, and the darkness is merely lack of light, evil is lack of good..."

"Perhaps, but you can`t change evil... but you can change good..."
Corus said smiling.

"Nay, you cannot... you can take away good, and thus make it evil, but evil can be destroyed, unless it accepts the good we have to offer." Arinae replied firmly though calmly, determined not to lose her temper this time.
"Evil is the lack of peace which good brings, evil is dark; the lack of light. Evil is cold; the lack of warmth. How would you then define evil?" She questioned, genuinely curious as to know his true thoughts.

"And have I ever taken what you have had to offer? No, I have not and I have not taken anything that anyone else has had to offer and yet you haven`t destroyed me... but tell me am I cold? Is my heart black because I can`t be good and nor can you call me good..."
Corus retorted.

"I do not call you evil for not all good has been lost in you, merely are you blind to not see what good does indeed lie within you. What must it take for you to see a future for yourself?" Arinae sighed quietly and shook her head, giving a dismissive wave of her hand.
"I have messed with this subject enough, and I shall cease now before I lose my temper. But heed my words, and think on them while you save lives as I have seen you do several times already," she murmured vaguely, turning to leave him to be on his own.

"Perhaps if you would endure what I had to then you would understand... but that will not happen... and I am actually grateful that it did..."
Corus said closing the conversation as he walked away.

Aemornion fell silent as the two debated worthlessly over the same subject once again, he was grieved slightly because of it but in his mind he knew well the difference between good and ill. His eyes remained focused on the approaching torches then he looked around the fortress. Everything was prepared and men were still aborad. His gaze then wandered once again to the gates of the Glittering Caves, his eyes narrowed slightly in some bent thought but he regained his composure.
"Battle stations!" he called out with a firm voice so all could hear as the enemy approached.
Soon the men rushed to their positions and awaited for the enemy to arrive

Khamdul was sitting near the gates of the Glittering Caves, his back against a wall. He had heard the three men argue amongst themselves and sighed. He wished he could go in and attack the Wild Men in there. But seeing as he couldn't, he remained at his unoffical post, just laying there
