Aearion shook his head, utterly confused,
"I-I don't know... He then placed a hand on Tulmind's forehead, and used his senses that he had honed to perfection in his blindness to try and figure out what was wrong. He closed his eyes, and soon a furrow knit itself in his brow, and then Aearion's eyes shot open.
"Halarond, we need to get him to Nestarion, now."

he rose and shouted "WE RIDE NOW, NO REST THIS NIGHT! MOUNT!" he helped tulmind onto his own horse, and mounted himself. "I will need to suppost him." he said.

They now rode for the rest of the night, picking their way carefully over the frost covered rocks, then dawn came, and the sky cleared. They were almost at the upmost part of the high pass. All they needed now was to come to Carrock, and perhaps Gwahir would be there. if so, then they could worry no longer.

Aearion seemed to read Halarond's thoughts, and then whistled as Eruraina did when she needed Hen's attention. Soon enough, the golden eagle came swooping down and landed on Aearion's vembrace.
"Mellon nin, I need you to go and find out for us weather Gwahir is at Carrock, it could save Tulmind's life." Hen, with a loud screach, flew ahead of the company, and soon disappeared.

(It's a good thing I remember Eruraina had an eagle! I hadn't mentioned Hen in any rpgs in a lllooonnnggg time! lol!)
It was the middle of the night when Eruraina recieved Halarond's message about Tulmind, and was concerned. At daybreak, she halted the army.
"We rest, but only for half an hour. That is the least amount of time we can spare!"

Aearion nodded in thanks to Halarond, and waited anxiously for Hen's return. Soon, Aearion could hear the flapping of great wings, and asumed it was Hen, that was, until he heard a deafening screach, that was definetly not Hen. Aearion's face lit up.
"Gwahir."

He leaped from his horse and looked at the sky. He could see the Greatest eage now, not far distant.

Aearion's face turned serious.
"Halarond, tell Gwahir our situation, He will more than likely bring Tulmind to Nestarion. Tell Gwahir that an old friend will take care of Tulmind once he is beyond King Thranduil's borders."

Halarond did so, in front of the others.
"Long have I travelled this earth, and long have I helped the free peoples of it" Gwaihir said. "And I shall do so once again, for I see your friend is in grave peril." And with that, he bode Tulmind onto his back, spread his wings, and set off into the clear morning sky.
Halarond re-mounted his horse.
"We follow as swiftly as we may!" Halarond shouted, and with that he too set off at great speed, but as careful as he could be down the mountainside.

Aearion followed Halarond, doing his best to keep their horses in line while riding down the mountain, growing ever nearer to his home. Even now, it started to feel like he was returning to the great Greenwood.
"Halarond, Gwahir will most likely tell Lord Thranduil of our presence, obviously, because of Tulmind. We need not the causion that we had before, but respect is always needed."

Tulmind was still unconous and fighting the mental power of the mysterious voice. Until he heard a mental screech from the voice and it dissaperd from his mind. Then a barrier formed around his mind that was not his own. One so strong nothing could break through. Then a gentle mental feeling washed over him. He talked to it. "Who are you?" Tulmind questioned. "Someone who is here to help" It answered. Tulmind imeditaly awoke in a bed with his chest bandaged his leg in a splint and his weapons in the corner. "I am Nestarion, welcome to Mirkwood." the man next to him said.
