As they walked the company could hear some noise. After a while they figured out that it was the sound of steel upon steel. There was a fight but it obviously took place a great way off.
By now they could see the mountain clear and tall rising in front of them. Until now nothing evil had encountered them but they felt some terror, a heart-deafening fear rise inside of them which drove them restless and uneasy. They went on hour after hour. At last they arrived at the foot of the mountain but could see nothing except bare rock.
"We must search the hidden entrance", Airemelero said.

Raelyn started walking north she sang to herself as she walked. she ran ahead just out of sight of the others and found a boulder she climbed on top of it and sat there looking around. she could already feel the presents of this evil. she turned around on the boulder. she could smell something fowl.
just then she saw 4 urki patroling the Area. she layed flat on the huge rock. <i> oh no....the others.</i> she thought to herself...
she then had a thought. Elenriel is probably telapathic. <i> Elenriel! are you there?</i> she thought to her.

Elenriel felt herself tense suddenly as she felt Lady Raelyn calling to her. "What is it, friend?" she asked, sending her thoughts directly to her. Elenriel glanced around quickly. She could sense danger in the area, but what it came from, she did not know.

How far are you from us? Elenriel asked. Have you followed this straight path? she asked urgently. Suddenly, she could sense the fear from the younger woman's thoughts. Stay calm. Elenriel told through her thoughts in an attempt to soothe her. We shall be with you soon. Don't make a sound to give away your position.
With that she looked at Airemelero. "Lady Raelyn is in danger. Uruks are near." she said quietly.

Tulmind was about to tell Elenriel to hurry up when he smelled and heard her say uruks. Tulmind remebered that smell well... it brought back pleasant memories of chopping the beasts down. "Then we have no time to loose!" Tulmind said eagerly darting through the trees to try and get a bead on a uruk helmet.

Raelyn slowly turned on her stomach trying not to make any noise. but her foot hit a rock and it rolled off and hit one of the urki's heads. she covered her mouth to keep from gasping.
" someone is up there." one of them growled
another one started to climb the rock. Raelyn jumped down before they could get her. and ran but they soon caught up to her and grabed her.
Raelyn struck the urki who was holding her. he slaped her back. she let out a loud cry. not becuase it hurt that bad. but for the others to hear her.

Tulmind found his bead and when the uruk pounced on Rayelan he let it fly. The arrow rocketed out of his bow and slammed into the uruk's neck. Tulmind slung his bow on his shoulder and drew his scimitars. Where was the fun if you could not feel your swords cut into their digusting flesh? There were only three left, and as the first tryed to run Tulmind cut him down with daziling speed. Tulmind rushed on the other two and in an instant his blades danced the all to familiar dance of death. His blades moved so quickly and evenly it was almost if they were talking to each other. But if the uruks had any awe in their evil hearts for the scene it was short lived as they dropped lifelessly to the ground. Tulmind seathed his scimitars and bent of Rayelan, "They did not hurt you did they?" he blurted quickly searching her for wounds.

Raelyn was breathing hard she was still in the arms of the dead urki...she was scared and her face pained. she didn't say anything she didn't even relize that anyone was talking to her.

Elenriel raced behind Tulmind hearing Raelyn's plea in her mind, unsure if Airemelero or the others were behind her. She breathed a sigh of relief seeing that Raelyn was relatively uninjured. "Well done." she stated to Tulmind. "Though it would have been nice if you saved some for me." she told the warrior in jest. Gently pulling Raelyn out of the arms of the dead uruk and sat beside her. "You must be careful, my lady." she said gently as she put an arm around her. "Did they harm you?" she asked, echoing Tulmind's question.
