"Nobody." Said Meleth, who has thus far remained silent. "How can you say such, Rhavaniel? Have you forgotten the old alliances that bound Elves and Men? Just because Gondor is not the proud kingdom it once was does not mean we have the right to declare that alliance disbanded."

Meleth almost rolled her eyes but controlled herself. "You'll find, Rhav, that that's a rather silly thing to say. We're all judged, whether we like it or not, and you'll also find that if you treat them as mortals, they'll behave as such. Your manner will make you no friends in Gondor, whether you wish them or not."

Meleth sighed and followed, resigned. "I cannot say I look forward to spending time with you in Gondor if you persist in your views of mortals," she said under her breath, knowing Rhavaniel would hear.

Rhavaniel shot her a glare over her shoulder "They taste good. Thats the only good thing about them. You should try them one day, Maybe I'll take you out for a drink."
This small comment seemed to induce another bout of laughter, and she shook her head, trying to clear it away.

This time Meleth did roll her eyes. "You know that's disgusting, Rhav. Be very careful, if they find out you're - er -" here she laughed before saying, "Well, if they find out they taste good - you had better get out of Gondor, double-time."

(I have two questions to be answered before I jump in. First, How do elves know that the halls of steward are corrupted?? And secondly when you entered Gondor, should you welcome in a bad manner or should I just wait??
