Meleth inclined her head and departed in all haste, holding her skirts up and every so often casting a glance apprehensively in the general direction of the elf she was trying to avoid. She stopped, having lost sight of him, and nearly jumped out of her skin when a voice behind her and to her right said, "Meleth! How nice to see you here..."

Meleth turned, hoping...but it was not to be. Eru, grant me patience! she though, and smiled graciously. "What a pleasant surprise, Sellion!" And thus began another exchange of pointless pleasantries, though Meleth was not likely to escape this one for a substantial amount of time.

"Handion, I hate you." She grumbled and that only made Handion smile.
"Come on, cous, you look great. Maybe Ara-" Handion was interrupted by Tur as she muttered quickly,
"SHHHHHHH, Handion!!" She looked around worriedly and sighed. "What if he heard you?" Handion lifted his eyebrow.
"Oh, and if he did?" He grinned ruefully.
"He doesn't even remember me, Ha." Tur said, sighing, thinking about her first meeting of the royal prince last time she was here.
"I bet you he does. Come." Handion lead the way up the steps and Tur reluntantly followed.

Speaking of Aradan...he had just decided to make his appearance, the last of the royals to do so, and before he could be caught up in meaningless conversation with twittering elleths, Elwen caught his arm and, after making quick excuses to the now-pouty elleths, led Aradan away, forging a way through the crowd.

"I owe you one, El.." Aradan murmured once they were 'safe' again. "I really do."

"Yes, you do." Elwen said dryly. "Had to drag you away from your admirers.."

Aradan chuckled softly, knowing she was kidding. "You're a life-saver, regardless. Saved me from being bored to death."

Sora was entering the hall, after having to show about 50 guards that she was invited. "Why did I even come I can't even understand Elvish" an answer came to mind, it was of several very pointly arrow heads staring back at her for rejecting the Kings kind offer. She sighed then stuck her chin up and walked into the crowd of tall beautiful elves. Her hand went right for Nip who collied around her wrist and stared back at the elves with about as much happiness as the spider she had kill a few months back. "I know it'll be over soon" she stroked Nip lovingly and sat down in a far corner of the hall. She reseved quite a few nasty looks from some of the elves but she kept her face calm. (Just to let you guys know I may not be very fast at this)

"Whoa!" Tur said, running into Aradan and Handion ran into Elwen.
"I am sorry, lady." Handion said. "Are you alright?" He asked her, while Tur was trying so hard from blushing. Aradan either didn't remember her, thought she was ugly now, or hated her. But she couldn't deny her feelings for him. "M'Lord, I...I" Tur said, and then as she saw an small group of Elves looking around, she pushed Handion and Elwen into an small corner and pulled Aradan with her and shut the door. There was an secret room that Tur just pushed them in and she sighed, not speaking, waiting to be thrown out of the party.
