"We have to leave here as soon as possible," she replied. "But first we need to gather our belongings and get rid of any trace of us being here." She set to work dousing the fire. Aramel stood across the campsite, tending to her horse, Bree. She would have loved to go back to Rivendell, but Annwyn had so politely begged for her help that she had to agree.

Rain looked at the girl who had just doused the fire.
"Hey... I just revived that! And we haven't eaten breakfast yet. We should cook the deer that Lasbelingur just brought us!"

Lorwen ran her brush over her paint horses neck once more. "All most time to go, Aragorn," she wispered to him, moving away to pack up the rest of her stuff.

Eruraina glared at Anwynn as she rebuilt the fire. Then quickly skinned the deer using a knife. The fat she placed in a bag, the skin she placed in a seprate bag. She could tann later for cloth or sell it at the next town. Last she put the meat on a stick, and stuck it over the reviving flames...

Deawen chuckled at the others as she groomed her Stallion Bredol. The horse was smooth and clean a coppery chestnut with flaxen mane and tail. Bredol wickered to Wilwarin, Fearan's horse in agreement to discomfort, he was not in pain just annoyed at Deawen insisting he stay clean. Her small but slender hands worked deftly over Bredols coat picking ticks or twigs. Deawen traveled alone most of the time as a mercenary going where she was most needed and this happened to be the best offer.

Caledon was also grooming his stallion, Talorn. The big grey horse whickered softly as Caledon quickly moved the brush across his back. "We'll get all that dust knocked off of you, Tal. Are you ready for another long day?" he continued to talk softly to the horse. It was a habit of his.

Morcun sighed, he walked over to his bay mare, Hathel, and started brushing her. The mare didn't care for getting herself dirty, which made Morcun's job easier.

Deawen ducked under her stallions belly to the other side where the fire was she found a small helping and scooped it up then halfway scurried back to her stallion under his belly and put the meat into a saddle bag. After grooming was finished Deawen whistled low and softly soon a midnight black dog came prancing out of the brush with a rabbit Deawen frowned and took the rabbit from her dog and began skinning it she saved the fur and gave the dog the rabbit.

Once they had eaten and all of the horses were groomed and ready, Annwyn started off into a thick, dense patch of trees where the Orc scent was strongest. They were less than a day ahead and if they moved fast enough, they might just be able to catch them.

Suddenly an arrow whizzed by Annwyn's head. This sent her horse into a state of shock and she realized that they themselves were being followed by a small ban of goblins.

Aramel drew her bow and loaded an arrow, swiftly firing at one particularly gruesome creature.

Eruraina had quickly gotten Fuin, her mare, ready. And soon when the group of riding through the overgrowth, a few arrows whizzed past them. Rain had her bow out and ready within seconds, aimed, and shot, as did Morcun...

Falcon heard the whiz of another arrow and ducked just in time as it went between his horses' ears and over his head. He quickly unsheath his sword and leaped onto Shadow's back and he reared Shadow, turning his steed around as he got on a throwing dagger and threw it at one goblin, hitting it squarly between the eyes.
