The orcs were driven back. They were frightened of the dwarves and some turned already to flee but Airemelero had taken some dwarves with him and caught the orcs in their back. They were cut off.

Raelyn had fighting skills but they werent the best. she had been fighting the same orc for at least 6 mins now. she was getting fustrated. she slashed at him many times but he wouldnt give up. he had hit her many times as well.
finally a dwarve ran to her, he helped her kill the orc. she looked around and saw Airmelero she ran after him to help in whatever he was doing. in the back of her mind she thought about her other two friends who were off fighting in other places.

"We must be wary." Sadron whispered to Elenriel as they drew nearer to the entrance. "My lady, I would advise you to move to the rear." he urged.

"Nay." Elenriel replied stubbornly. "I am both Princess and a shieldmaiden of Mirkwood. My place is with you, at the front."

Sadron sighed at her stubbornness but let the matter drop, knowing that their was no time to argue.

"Sadron-" Elenriel whispered. "We are being watched." she stated as her eyes scanned a patch of trees.

The captain nodded and signaled the men. "Prepare yourselves." he ordered as the group warily scanned their surroundings.

Raelyn was out of breath from fighting. she had a lot of scratches and wounds but that was to be expected. "Airmelero...do we know where Tulmind went?" she asked wanting to go aid him in any way.

He was in the frontguard. He must have passed the orcs. By now he will be a fair distacne away. We have to move on anyway so maybe we will catch up to him.
