Micha nodded. "I'll meet you there."

He headed off towards his room, walking slowly. He passed the stables and took a right across a bridge that spanned a deep crevasse with a trickle of water slumbering peacefully at the bottom.

Once he reached his room he entered the small establishment and grabbed his satchel. He took one last look at the place. He couldn't count the amount of times he had stayed there. Every time he was in Rivendel Elrond set him up in the same humble dwelling. He liked it. Every time he left he put in his mind, "This may be the last time I see this place."

Another moment and he turned to the door. He walked around behind the hut where his horse was waiting in a small pen. Syndar, his horse, was glad to see him. The two spent a moment of greeting together and Micha rubbed down the large black steed for a short bit before jumping on and heading over to see of Valadhiel.

Sygnet didn't take very long. She fetched her noble Appaloosa steed from the stables and went to go meet her best friend. Everyone was waiting there when she arrived. She hugged her best friend and took her aside. The two had a quiet conversation, hugged each other tightly and returned to the group.

Valadhiel turned to Micha, "Take care of her for me, okay?" she asked, reaching up to hug him. The small dragon sat nestled on the rump of the horse Valadhiel was borrowing.

"With my life," Micha assured Valadhiel. He gave her a hug and wished her well. "You take care of yourself, too."

He reached into his bag and pulled out a small leather pouch. "These are my healing salves. You will likely need them more than we will." he handed them to Valadhiel.

Then he looked over at Sygnet. He knew this was going to be hard for her to watch her best friend go off into battle.

Valadhiel smiled up at him, "Until we meet again, Micha," she took the small pouch from him and pocketed it.

Sygnet sniffed quietly and hugged her best friend once more, "I await your return. Send a raven to Lorien the minute you get back," she insisted, knowing full well that the Raven might not even be sent.

Valadhiel nodded and mounted her steed and set off, leading the way through the mountains and towards battle. She turned once more and waved good bye to her new friends. Even still, she wondered if she would see them again.

Micha waves once, then lit a hand on Sygnet's shoulder. "You going to be alright?"

Sygnet nodded and turned back to him, "I will be, now, I said a good-bye to my father, so we can go ahead and go. Do you have everything?" she asked him quietly.

Micha smiled, glad to know she seemed to be taking the departure of her best friend in good spirits. "Yes," he nodded. "I have all my things."

Sygnet mounted her horse, a bit gingerly because of her shoulder and took a deep breath, ready to take the trip with Micha. She was a little nervous but excited as well.

"Well, then..." Micha shruged. "Off we go."

He headed off towards the little traveled road to Lorien. It would be a long journey down the length of the Misty Mountains. Micha knew those mountains well, however. The day was brisk and cool, a perfect day for traveling.

"So," began Sygnet, "tell me about yourself. I don't even know your favorite color." She smiled at him and then turned her attention to the trees. The leaves on the towering oaks would begin turning red and yellow as Autumn began.

"About myself?" Micha paused. "Well... I'm... Me?" He said with a grin. "Never been too good at these things. My favorite color, however..." He seemed to be thinking... Almost as if he had never thought of a favorote color. "I'd say white if it didn't remind me of snow and cold... Blue is a more pleasent color... But if I had to lick one I'd pick Red. It's drawing and vibrant." He looked over to Sygnet. "What about you?"

Sygnet smiled, "I like green...because it can be bright and also warm. It reminds me of home..." She laughed out loud, "Something as simple as a plant...just reminds me of everything good about my past," she looked at him, "And my future."

Micha smiled. "Here's looking at a green future, then." He looked ahead at the green infront of them. Green was a warm color, warm and welcoming like a summer glade with tall lush grass.

The evening was drawing close and it neared time to stop for the evening. "What about your favorite food?" Micha asked Sygnet as he pulled his horse to a stop and dismounted.

Sygnet dismounted as well and removed her horse's bridle so she could munch on the grass, "I have never been picky about my food but strawberries...I adore strawberries," she replied, sitting next down on the grass and looking at him, "What about you?"

Micha turned his horse out to eat as well. He knelt down by a small dip in the ground and cleared away all the weeds and green vegitarion and began stacking sticks for the beginings of a fire.

"I've always liked nuts," he told her. "High up in the misty mountains and the mountains past Erigion there are nut trees that grow. The locals call them pine nuts... But it is not a pine tree. I would gather bags full of those amy time I passed through and I have never found them growing anywhere else."

Sygnet thought long and hard. She hadn't been past Eregion for several decades herself and couldn't quite remember if she had any of the nuts he was talking about, "I couldn't be too sure, but I think I remember those nuts. It's been decades but either way..." she took a deep breath and smiled over at him and began setting up the campsite for the night
