Eleshna shook her head quickly, "No, we shouldn't waste time... he is watching, always watching, and uses Shadows to watch... he will quickly take over if he suspects we are delaying..." She then glanced at the other man, "my old master... a personal matter..."

She shivered, as though a breeze had gone by, but there was none. "Nwalmaerea. Ed' i'ear ar' elenea kela" she whispered quietly, looking to her left as though speaking to someone.

The long ride across the lands soon came to a hualt as the small group stopped for the night.

Sudenly in the distance they herd something. Something walking... or somone.

"CreshOskMernEsk KrillNernOskXesh." Jaden called out.

Soon Knox, the man from Veron's cave appeared in the dim light of the fire's flame.

"I came as soon as I could. I have been freed from him." Knox told Jaden.

"How?" Jaden asked in amazement. Veron did not seem like one to let off his .... "employese" so easily.

"It actualy wasn't all that hard. I annoy him to the ends of the earth." Knox smiled as him and Jaden walked back to the camp.

"Knox will traveling with us for a short time." Jaden informed the others.

Eleshna's eyes widened in surprise at Knox. She was in too deep, and far beyond annoying Veron to the point of release. He had taught her too much to let her go so easily, but still she wished it were as easy as it had been for Knox so it seemed...

She tried to rest, but eventually gave up and sat against a tree. Now and then she would shiver, though no chill was present, and whisper the words "Nwalmaerea. Ed' i'ear ar' elenea kela"

"I wish I had my Shadows..." Eleshna mumbled to herself as she got to her feet and remained standing while leaning against the tree, glancing around nervously. "His are here.... " she again spoke in a quiet whisper to herself.

Eleshna looked at Jaden in silence for a moment before responding in a quiet voice. "It means... 'Tormented ones. by the sea and stars go away' simple wording, but to the shadows, it could be something of a threat... besides..." she continued while casting her gaze towards the ground, "I fall back on the tongue of the elves, as a way to defy the one I once called master... though if I were to speak such words in his presence he would be furious... "

Jaden aknowledged Eleshna and then turned to Knox.

"SenthIskOskNern?" he asked him.

Knox mearly noded.

"I think I know how you can free yourself from him." Jaden told her.

"I am sorry for my deception but I coud not be sure it was safe until asking Jaden." Knox began to speak.

"I am one of the original Sion, those who came from another world." Knox started to explain. "I was freed from Veron by no simple means. There is a way to break his bonds. This stone, spoken with theese words, will hold him to his word. If he attempts to betray you, he will be frozen in time forever." Knox told her as he handed her the stone and the words.

Eleshna examined the stone and words. "But I am bound to him in a different way than you... my pain is his pain and his pain is mine...so if he is frozen wouldn't I be as well?... aye, but I s'pose it is the price I'll pay for my mistakes..." (oooh, Sounds like that dragon movie ^^ ... what the heck was it called... lol I think it was Dragon Heart... )

Eleshna jerked slightly, as though startled, but then gave a short nod. "I'll try... hannon lle" She laid on her side, her sword drawn and set in front of her, her hand resting over the hilt. After a while Eleshna drifted to sleep, but remained tensed, her hand firmly gripping her sword hilt now and then.

Jaden stayed watch most the night, trading off with Knox and Azher now and then.

In the morning he was up before the sun fixing breakfast for everyone.
