The half-Elf munched happily on her bread and dried fruit. She gave a small nod to the hobbit, "Glad to see you up little master," she says in as genial a tone as she can muster. She finished the bread quickly and brushed the crumbs off her vest onto the forest floor, "So would the newcomers to the fire wish to share any tales?"

Sighing she leans against her heavy pack and closes her eyes, "Yes... Another tale would be welcome. It helps pass the time, this telling of tales."

Drogo smiled excitedly and grabbed ahold of both the bowl and spoon. Dipping the spoon in, he quickly filled the bowl to the brim with stew to, afterwards, take his seat around the fire preparing himself for another tale to be told.

She scratched the back of her hair waiting for someone to start until it became clear that it wasn't happening, "Right so I suppose I'll go then." She furrowed her brows trying to think of a decent story for the group and grins thinking of one of her favorites though perhaps not the best story, "My friend Tremain and I were once stuck in a prison in Minas Tirith. We were both in for completely seperate incidences, but managed to end up in cells near each other. The guards tell us to write a joint letter to one of our mutual friends and hands Tremain the pen and paper. Both of us find this highly entertaining considering Tremain is in fact sightless. Anyway to make a very long story short, we escape the prison by our own means and leave said paper with a note on how to improve the time of the prisoners in the prison, the first of which I have to say was 'post guards at all doors,'" she finished with a grin. The entire story had been much more interesting and had infact involved several fights and a near hanging, but she left is out for posterities sake.

She howls with laughter at her friend's story, " I remember finding you two back at the inn... What a state you were in. Very giggly too if i remember correctly. And an entire legion of guards after you too..." Grinning, "One of these days Im afraid that it might be you on the hanging stand miss."
She watches the little hobbit eating heartily and chuckles, "Sometimes I wish I could get so much enjoyment out of something as small as a simple hearty meal."

Drogo smiled an innocent and joyful smile, but soon responsed, "And I sometimes wish I would be able to tell such amazing stories, but, unfortunately, I have none."

She huffed at Saira's comment, "A state. Honestly since when have I ever been in a 'state?'" She asked jokingly. "And I have never seen Tremain giggle in my life, if that happens then she is either sick or the world is ending," she laughed merrily, her voice finally taking on personality. "Ah, I think you exaggerate the number of guards mellon nin, their couldn't have been more than thirty, thirty five at the very most, as for the hanging dear...they'd have to be able to catch us first" she finished with a chuckle and a wink, with that she ate another little bit of fruit.

She laughs lightly, "Oh yes... Catching you. That would be interesting. If my memory is still acute - this was a couple hundred years ago - you actually were going on trial for something or other... And you managed to put the hang - man in your stead. I think I might have heard this story from elsewhere unless I was present..." She looks thoughtful. "Anyways, good times."

Grinning she responded, "Technically the charge, I was sentenced to while with Tremain was drawn and quartering. But, after taking out a few guards with the help of Tremain and my chains, they decided that they should probably work on keeping us in prison," she laughed loudly and slapped her leg. "I had nearly forgotten about that escape, some little nothing town too. One of my more spectacular escapes I'll have to admit that. Ah, good fun."

Goldleaf was amazed by Maethoriel's story. "You were in prison, in Minas Tirith?" she exclaimed. Her bright blue eyes had slightly widened. Finishing the last of her bread, she folded her hands onto her lap. "So, are there any more stories to be told?" she asked everyone generally. "I myself don't have many to tell - but I'm sure I can think of something if needs be."

"I think that maybe the newcomers to the fire might have some..." she winked at Maeth and then leaned back once again.

"I should hope so," said Goldleaf. "But it seems some around the fire have fallen silent. Perhaps we should all try to get some sleep. After all, we'll be going to Osgiliath tommorrow."

(I'm sorry I haven't been able to post... weekends are usually hectic with me, and then I've had family over)
Rain had listened while gobling down some food. She didn't eat very much, but what she did eat she ate fast. When she was done she leaned back.
"I have a few stories. Mostly battle stories. Though, when I was much younger I always read books and studied old lore, so I guess I have many stories," she said, thinking.
"My favorite would have to be the time I was going after a bounty in Mirkwood. Usually I don't bother going that far North, but the person who had set up the bounty had given a high price for this goblin captain dead or alive. It was too much to turn down, so I bought a horse and went to Mirkwood. I had no idea what to expect there, having only heard and read stories about it, and only seeing it in maps. So I was unexpectedly ambushed by spiders. They had made webs all around me, trapping me and the horse. I cut some down with my sword, and shot some with my bow, and was able to escape. But I had to leave the poor horse behind so I could get away. Then I had a little trouble with the goblins, being captured and in their clutches for a few days, making my escape, and killed a few dozen goblins in the meantime.
"Then I had to fight the goblin captain. After a fight that lasted almost from dawn to dusk, I finally killed him, earning a cut across the stomach during the fight. I still have the scar to prove it. Then I had to use one of the goblins' horses, that I'm sure they were planning to eat, to drag the goblin captain back to Rohan where the bounty was to be paid. That trip took almost a week, and the smell was horrible. But, in the end, I got paid, plus given a new horse. That horse died awhile back, becoming spooked really bad by Nazgul, and plunged into the Anduin, never to be seen again."

Garsun had to luagh at Meath's tale, then looked wide-eyed at Rain. Her story was impressive, but there were a few things that seemed over exagerated.
"The battle with the goblin captain lasted dusk till dawn? Are you sure?"

Goldleaf smiled. "That was an interesting story," she said. "Goblins are foul creatures. From dusk till dawn? It must have been one extremely ferocious, angry creature."
