(ok, that was more than mildly confusing. oh, hang on... vail=vial right? And since when did the maieans sword become bloody? He hasn't actually managed to harm anyone yet.
Let me get this straight. Maiean is frozen by the contents of a vial, about to hit me. We are free to either flee, or kill the maiean leader. Did I get the right?)

(o.o erm... I've been confused as well... that's right! The Maiean hasn't even cut anyone.... anyway.... let's flee *shifty eyes* I don't exactly want him dead yet since he's the only really bad guy ever since Sen left...)

(*suddenly has an idea*)

The area was suddenly swarmed with Maiean. The camp had been aroused, and were now swift upon them. Before Tahlavain could strike down the frozen figure, a flood of Maiean overwhelmed them, grabbing at whoever they could to take them captive. Tahlavain was the first in reach, but she swiftly brought her sword around to weild the beings off, then climbed a tree, balancing on a low limb expertly, running along it's length and leaping to the next tree. She continued to do this until she was a good distance away then she sat upon a limb breathlessly, awaiting the others.

(If any of you wish to be captured, it's up to you...)

( :-o Wow Silm, another splendiferous idea by you.)

The sudden appearance of the maiean caught Darrell by suprise. He brought his sword into play, but he was not quick enough to follow Tahlavain into the trees. He fought in a vigorous backward action, trying to prevent the maiean surrounding him. But he was unable to get his back to anything, and was quickly overwhelmed. His sword was wrested from his grasp. He was hit over the head with something heavy, and blacked out.

(o.o hehe Why thank you ^^)

Tahlavain waited for sometime, then began to grow nervous, fearing something may have happened to the others. She silently slid down from the tree and crept along in a crouch, her step utterly silent, an arrow nocked upon her bow string.

Soon she came to where the Maiean were in sight, but it seemed they had gather in one massive group. She tried in vain to hear what their minds might be saying, then strained to see between the gathering of dark capes, cloaks, and robes.

Unable to see anything from that angle, Tahlavain began making a large circle around to the other side, holding her breath for a moment as she saw Darrell unconcious, though her line of vision was soon obscured by yet another dark cloak.

They seemed to be tying him to a tree, but other than that, she could not tell. She feared the worst, but could only hope they were only going to hold him as bait, bait which she would have to carefully plan to snatch without being caught herself.

Darrell came to slowly, and with a thumping head ache from where he had been knocked out. As he came to his senses he noticed he was tied to a tree. He struggled feebly against the rope binding him, but a cold, malicious voice spoke, causing him to freeze. " I wouldn't do that if i where you. I've been given orders to make you die slow and painful if you make a fuss". Darrell stopped struggling, and tried to figure a way he could get out.

Tahlavain nodded slightly to Anduril, acknowledging the elf's presence. Silently she crouched down, waiting as the Maiean began to prepare to move on, undoubtedly keeping Darrell as both informent, by way of torture, and bait. She would have to wait until the right moment.

Soon the Maiean moved on, four gaurding Darrell the closest, each holding a rope, two going to his hands which were tied behind his back, and one rope each for his feet. The remainder of the Maiean gathered around in tightly knit groups, several scattered throughout the forest. Tahalavain kept her distance and crept along silently, following, her cloak, much like a Lorien cloak, keeping her well concealed.

Anduril followed silently after Tahlavain, her cloke was of Lorien, given to her bu her grandmother the Lady. She kept one eye on Tahlavain, to see what her plan would be and one on the Maien scouts running on either side of the main back

Darrell stumbled along, the ropes attached to his legs hindering his movements, making walking difficult. The maiean holding the ropes restraining him found it highly amusing to tug at the ropes, causing him to trip and stagger.
Darrell glanced at his empty scabbard for the hundredth time since he had been captured. He had kept his eyes open, trying to see where his blade was bestowed. "They will pay for taking my sword. When I get it back they shall see some swordplay. I'll show them how to use a blade".
One of the Maiean holding the ropes tugged it, causing Darrell to stumble again. "You won't get your blade back, to use on us, or anything else. Once we've used you to get what we want, you'll be dealt with". The Maiean smiled viciously as he tugged the rope again. Darrell ignored him and turned his eyes to the surrounding area, searching for anything that might help him escape.

Tahlavain waited for one or two Maiean to lag behind, then quickly disposed of them. Dragging one behind a group of trees, she swiftly changed into the black attire, her tall, even though thin, stature easily disguised by the large billowing cloak. She pulled the large hood well over her head after tying her hair back and smearing some mud onto her face to darken her tone. Luckily gloves seemed to be common among them and she slipped the black cloth on over her hands.

After being sure her sword was well hidden beneath the cloak, Tahlavain strode forwards as jauntily as possible, but silent as the Maiean, and quickly ducked into a group, nodding silently. She soon made her way to the group closest to Darrell and mindspoke to one of the Maiean that she was a relief watcher. Being handed one of the ropes to Darrell's hands, she remained silent, not at all out of place since all the Maiean had their hoods drawn.

Darrell watched the guard on one of his ropes change mildly confused. Previously all the guards had changed at the same time. He looked curiously at his new guard, trying to work out why just one guard had been changed.

Tahlavain glanced towards the other Maiean to be sure they were preoccupied with their own discussions, before glancing Darrell up and down. She gave a slight nod and shifted the cloak aside to show the grey stone on the end of her sword hilt, then swiftly covered it again when the guard's conversation died down and they became more cautious of their surroundings.

Darrell recognised the sword hilt instantly. He flashed a small, brief smile. He was careful not to let the maiean notice any change, but he stepped up his search for his sword, knowing he would be nothing but baggage without a way to fight.
