Tindomerel was running as fast as she could. She ran away. Lebethron had hopefully reached the others and Arinae would sent help. The orcs were chasing her. Then she realized that she shouldn't run toward them, or many more could get killed.
She stopped, waving her hand in the air.
"Hey, over here! Looky! I'm right here! I bet you can't catch me!" she yelled at the top of her lungs.
She started running the the left of the group. "Eru give me speed," she mumbled, as the orcs started after her, firing arrows, the elf running as fast as she could.
An arrow hit her leg and she tumbled to the ground, ramming against a boulder. She quickly stood up, the orcs have surrounded her. She pointed her sword at then, gritting her teeth at the pain in hre bleeding leg.
"Give up, little she-elf," said one of the orcs, clearly one of the leaders.
She would not give herself up. She would rather die than give herself up to morgal scum. She firecely spat in his face, using the boulder to balance herself, barely able to stand. "Take the for your answer, Morgal Filth!"
"This ones got spirit," said another orc, grinning at Tindomerel, evily.
"We'll fix that," said the leader, glaring at Tindomerel, drawing his sword, her amber growing wide in fear...

Arinae leapt upon her horse and half stood on the steed's back to get a better view. "Curse the scum of the earth!" She yelled out to her men, "Gather, and head back, head back!" Dropping down to sit in the saddle, Arinae spurred her horse onward, she lead the Rohirrim towards the orc group, the speed of the Rohan steeds outmatching that of the orcs, and gaining upon them shortly after they reached the elf. The Rohirrim delved into the fray, their spears hitting their mark with excellent skill, and those with swords drawn hacked down the orcs. "Filth, curse upon this land, be gone!" Arinae muttered under her breath as she thrust her blade through the neck of one orc and didn't stop the charge of her horse as she yanked the blade from the orc. Reaching Tin, she dismounted and stood between her and the orc leader, "Take Stardance, Lady Tin, you are in no condition to fight..." she ordered as calmly as she could, then engaged in an all out battle with the large orc.

Jax stayed behind as ordered and kept the group going. The sooner they reached there goal the safer they would all be.

Rhayader charged into the fray slicing the heads off many orcs. He glanced at Tindomerel and Arinae and nodded to himself. At least she was safe.
He rode further into the fight, when suddenly an orc came flying at him and tackeled Rhayader from his horse. He coughed and splutered as he rose.
The orc snarled and Rhayader responded in the same way. He lunged into the orc, dodged an attack and thrust his sword into the orc's back.
"Ah good to be in a battle again."
He smiled to himself and charged back into the fray, watching his horse flee from the field.

(What? No! Rohan horses can't flee! *sob* .... I'm hyper, forgive me ^^ Ahem... Continue...)
Arinae shoved the orc leader back, using her blade against his, then glanced back at the elf again. "Move! On my horse and go! That's an order!" As she glanced back, the orc had returned and slashed towards her neck. She stumbled backwards to avoid it, and fell to her back on the ground, her helmet thrown off by the movement. She rolled out of the way just as the blade of the orc came down, and scrambled to her feet again.
Thrusting the blade forward, Arinae was able to imbed it in the orc's side, but recieved a backhand blow to the side of her head, which sent her reeling backwards into the group of orcs. She turned last minute and caught herself by thrusting her blade through an orc and using the foul creature to steady herself before it fell. Wiping blood from the side of her head from the blow, she turned and continued to fight.
The Rohirrim fought well, easily remaining seated on their steeds, though a few fell still, as their horses were brought down.
(Oh, and Jax, just so you know ^^ The villagers are still paused for a rest, though Arinae just led most of the riders with her)

((You really think a horse is going to stick around?))
Rhayader ran toward Arinae and chopped down another orc down behind her. He lunged forward into another and ducked from another attack.
"My Lady what about the column?"

Arinae respond between heavy breaths as she cut down another orc. "Jax is with them, and I left men behind, enough to defend them if need be..." She ducked a blow and thrust her sword through the orc's stomach, then spinning, she sliced the head from an orc behind Rhayader. "Favor returned..." she grinned slightly and turned back to fighting, wiping blood that was slipping into her eye.

Rhayader glanced behind him.
"Thanks!"
He looked at the fight quickly and saw men on horses fighting valiantly but some being encircled and brought down. Rhayader was tiring, he swung again and again bringing down orc after orc.
An arrow brushed past his face leaving a line of blood on his cheek. He snarled and saw the archer. Before he could load another arrow Rhayader had thrown a dagger at the orc. It hit in the head and the orc fell instantly.
The orcs were slowly being cut down. He saw a few running away.
"Arinae! They flee!"

Instead of doing as Arinae told her, Tindomerel climbed up on the rock, hacking off orc heads. They could barely rached her, even if they tried. She then saw Nimloth flash by, in a blur of white fur. The she-wolf jumped on an orc that was about to attack Tindomerel.
"Nice to see you," the elf called to Arinae and Rhayader, "I had to send Lebethron. I couldn't have all the fun to myself, you see..."
Lebethron then came galloping at the boulder, crashing through the orcs. Tindomerel jumped back on her horse.
" Hannon le, mellon nin," she said, with a quick pat.
(Thank you, my friend.)
Now that she was on a horse she could move around, killing more orc than she could have on that boulder.
((Kills orcs! Fun! ))

"They flee, but not for long," Arinae clenched her jaw as she glanced towards the fleeing orcs. "We won't pursue though.... too many at stake" She continued fighting the remaining orcs.
Sending a glare towards Tin, she muttered, "the stubborn pride of an elf yet again..." Snatching her helmet from the ground, she again placed it on her head and leapt upon Stardance, feeling more comfortable with the advantage of a horse.

Rhayader sheathed his sword and drew his bow.
"Time for some target practice."
He notched one of the elven arrows and fired it at a fleeing orc. To his suprise the arrow flew straight and true even at a great distance and felled the evil orc.
He glanced at the elf and shook his head.
"stubborn indeed."
He fired another arrow and another orc fell.

Tindomerel sat on Lebethron, watching as Rhayader shot down orcs. She watched his form as he shot, trying to figure out what she was doing wrong. Then an orc came out from hiding behind a boulder, ataacking Rhayader.
Tindomerel quickly pulled her hunting knife out from her boot and flicked it at the orc. The knife hit the orc, squarly in the back. He fell down, dead, inches away from Rhayader. "You owe me, Ranger," said Tindomerel, hopping off Lebethron to grab her knife and hobbling over to the dead orc, sabbing another that had popped out from behind the boulder.

Arinae grinned slightly, "good shot..." She hacked at the orcs from above on her horse, and as many more of the orcs began to flee, she too drew her bow, nocking an elven arrow of her own, and released it with deadly accuracy towards the retreating backs.
Arinae glanced harshly as Tin spoke the words. "He owes you nothing.... he's the one who alerted us to your possible trouble. Without him we'd possibly be burying you beneath the earth..." She turned before the elf could answer and hack the head off an orc.

Rhayader looked back to the elf and nodded his thanks he turned his attention back to the fleeing orcs and pursued them as far he could. He returned to Arinae and slung his bow over his back.
"They appear to have gone my lady."

Tindomerel frowned. You are under control... You will not yell and jump around like a crazed orc...
Tindomerel closed her eyes for a moment and breathed slowly, in and out. She had to get herself under control. It was that, or lag behind the group for the whole trip and risk getting killed.
"You're right," Tindomerel spoke, forcing the words from her mouth, very unwillingly, "Thank you, Rhayader, I am in your debet."
She gave him a small bow, turning to Arinae. "I think I will travel with the group again," said Tindomerel, "My temper has cooled."
((You do realize how hard it was for Tin to say that??? ))

Arinae nodded, the green flame still burning in her eyes from the battle, though hidden by the Rohirrim helmet. "Very good, Lady Tin, and you shall have those wounds tended to before we continue on."
She took a few deep breaths as the adrenaline from the battle left, leaving her shaken and worn, her head pounding from the blow earlier. Arinae made her way back to the gathered villagers, the few riders standing guard still on alert.
