They walked deeper and deeper into the maze of caves. Eruraina heard scrambling to her left, and turned, nothing was there. Then she heard something up ahead, and turned to see the giant spider...

Turwaithiel looked around, bracing herself when she saw the spider. It was much bigger than she expected. It stared at them and then launched it's huge body owards them. Tur grabbed Rain and pushed her against the wall, as the giant spider flew past them.

Rain was thankful Tur pushed her away from the spider. When she landed, Shelob turned, and attacked. Rain put her sword out, hitting the spider on the leg with the flat of the sword, then hit it agains, with the sharp of the sword, making it scream and back away. Rain grabbed Tur's hand and ran deeper into the cave, going as fast as posible to get away from Shelob who was limping after them...

Tur ran as fast as she could, but the sharp rocks took it's toll on her side. She saw a small trickle of blood go down he tunic as she looked back to check the spider's progress. It was coming faster now.

They were stopped before a wall of sticky web.
"I'll fight off the spider to get us time, you cut through the web..." she said, and Shelob came closer...

Tur nodded and turned, slashing left and right as quickly as possible. The web was thick, but mangable.

While Tur worked on the web, Shelob caught up. The spider tried bighting at Rain's sword, probably wanting to pull it out of her hands, but the elf maiden would allow that. She cut the spider's leg again, and when it screamed Rain jumped to the side, and cut another leg before it could tern tward her. The spider charged unexpectedly, making Rain land on the sticky ground with an 'oof' and stopped right obover her. Rain watching in horror as the spider's stinger came flying toward her, so she rolled out from under the spider. Now Shelob seperated Rain from Tur.

Rain stabbed at the big spider again, and yelled at it, squaring her shoulder. The spider screamed and ran off down another tunnel. Rain ran over to help cut down the rest of the web, her back paining her...

Tur managed to get most of the web cut when Rain came beside her. "You okay?" She asked, seeing Shelob nowhere.

"Aye, we just need to get through this mission as fast as possible!" Rain said, groaning a little when her side hurtt. When they finally cut down the web, they came to a room with dead corpses hanging from the ceiling with more stickey web. There were five other passages, all about the same size.
"Now were to? If we're not carefull, we could get lost easily..."

The air felt less dense in the tunnel they chose, but it led to a dead ent. They back-tracked and got to the main tunnel entry again. "Okay, which way now?"

She opened her eyes, hearing the line from a song she remember from so long ago.

"I don't know... I've heard it before! I know!" Rain went off to the tunnel opposite to the one they had just come from. The singing got louder until they came to the end of the tounnel. Then the singing disappeared, and there was no sign of the singer.
"We're in the same place were Frodo got stabbed by Shelob..."
