(I'm going to be away...funeral out West...I'll be gone for about a week. I'll try to catch up when I get back.)

(okay... let's start over again! Since, like, I forgot all that happened, and don't feel like rereading! Same characters! okay...)
A hooded figure leaned against a cliff, watching a few orcs running toward him howling. With his bow already in hand, he grabbed an arrow from his quiver on his back, and shot down the closest orc. Another orc replaced the fallen one. Now they were too close for bow now, so the figure stuck his bow into the quiver, and unsheathed his sword. Within seconds the first two orcs were upon him, but still he remained relaxed. He chopped the head of the first, than stuck his sword in the second, and kicked it off his sword...

(Hobo! Finally an RP that we're both in!)
Reniel's eyes shot to the figure engaged in combat with the orcs. Leaping from her perch in a great oak tree, she joined him in the battle.

Tulmind heard the howls or orcs in front of him and it made him smile. They would not know what hit them. Grabbing his stave he charged into the midst of the group.

The figure quickly cut down many orcs, and soon half were diminished. Just then there was a crashing in the trees, and a scream that wasn't human, it was monterous. Then an answering call from a different beast of the same species.
Two mountain trolls charged into the clearing, one weilding a club with spike, the other a ragget sword. Both kept slashing thier weapons from side to side, cutting down the remaining orcs. When the orcs were all gone, the trolls took heavy steps toward the warriors, cornering them against the cliff...

Tulmind smiled as the trolls entered the picture. They always showed a challenge. He charged near the closest one as it swung a crude sword at his head. He rolled forward and the air from the clumbsy blow whipped his long black hair in his face. Coming out of the roll he plunged his stave into the troll's chest but in a final act of defiance the troll smack the flat of his blade agaisnt the back of Tulmind head. Tulmind flew over the dead troll and crumpled up unconsious in front of the next troll.

Reniel glanced at the unconscious person, then back at the trolls. She decided in favour of destroying the trolls before turning to the wounded.

The figure again drew his bow. He dipped the pointy tip of the arrow into a bag of poison, before aiming, and getting the still standing troll in the shoulder. It was a quick and deadly poison, and already the limbs of the troll were slowing.
He put away his bow, and drew his sword again, and ran to the troll, dodging the spiked club. The troll got his club stuck in the hard dirt, and the figure took advantage of this, and cut the troll's thumb off. Next he cut the troll's leg, cutting an artery. And soon the mountain troll was falling backwards, dead from poison and bleeding to death.
The figure wipped his bloody sword with his cloak, and walked over to the unconcious man and the elf.
"Will he live?" asked a low, raspy voice...

Reniel was already examining Tulmind. "Yes. He's just winded is all. He fell rather hard." she withdrew a phial of orange-amber coloured liquid and poured some into his mouth, reviving him instantly. "He may have a concussion. I would have to further examine him to know for sure."

Tulmind awoke with a start, "OWWW!!" he shouted grabbing the back of his head. He pulled his hand back and it was covered in blood. Shocked all he could say was, "That looks like it hurt." he turned and saw an elf standing over him and a man. "Thank you," he said thanking the elf, "So which one of you got the other troll?"

The figure watched in silence, then went to inspect the orcs and trolls. He found one of the orc's banner's with an eye painted on it.
"These are from Mordor, as I expected. I knew they had been following me. Glad I had help to deal with them. But this would only be a small part of a great group of orcs that should now be heading south."
