Balathor walked over to Abigail, Who had just jumped up, startled by him. His face was wooden. Expressionless. And he continued to eye the girl infront of him. "I am curious..." He started. His voice was very grungy, and different. "As to where you got your clothing. For I have not seen the like of it in all my days roaming Middle-Earth. And I needn't tell you how many days that has been." He motioned for her to sit back down.

"These ruined rags?" Abagail asked, shocked that the outlander would be asking such questions, "It would surprise you that they were actually purchased at a high-end retail store in Hollywood. I do not recall the precise name of the store, but I do remember I have gone shopping there quite the dozens of times, and I have even grown to make a contract of allegiance with them causing me to star in some television commericals in exchange for new top-liner clothing that, in practical terms, came right off the press." Abagail had rambled on for some time, losing her crowd at the second or third syllable of the word Hollywood, she believed, but, nonetheless, Abagail still enjoyed to hear the sound of her own voice. In this place, in gave her comfort that she was not, indeed, going insane.

It was not difficult for Balathor to come to two options. Either 1. This girl was not right in the head. or 2. She was not from Middle-Earth. But where could she possibly be from? And how did she get to M-E? "Where were you born?" Balathor asked, ignoring the rest of her rambling. "Rohan? Gondor?"

The half-Elf cackled wickedly and gave her red-headed friend a wolfish grin, "At least one of you children understand the danger he was in. Foolish boy, did you mother not teach you not to take things from strange strangers?" She laughed again, this time dragging Julie into a hug. "How have you fared, dear friend?" The woman released her friend to let her eyes roam about the room, immediately sizing up those in it, her judgement tended to be withstanding and often very wrong. She was as fond of strangers as they were of her, which was not much.
Grair shook his head and laughed as well, there were stranger things that had happened to the group. "Julie, who is your friend? I do not believe we all have met before," the dwarf asked in a polite, albeit a tad haughty manner.

"I suppose I am a mere child compared to you, old woman." Aradan raised his eyebrow, crossing his arms and leaning against a tree trunk.
Julie dismissed this comment and smiled, letting go of Maeth. She turned towards her companion, dragging him away from the tree.
"This is-"
"I can introduce myself, thanks. Contrary to certain charming beliefs, I am capable of being intelligent." Aradan took a long drag from his pipe.
"My name is Aradan Beinion. We seemed to have gotten off on the foot. Allow me to apologize for such horrific behavior." his voice was slightly mocking, but not enough that one could be sure. He made a point in bowing exaggeratingly to be at the same height as Grair. Julie, knowing him all too well, bit her lip and frowned.

Maeth laughed harshly, as was her typical way of doing everything, there was hardly a gentle bone in her body. The only one left was in fact located just above one of her phalangees in the left hand, but that was hardly the point. Said left hand had produced a knife from seemingly no where, she brought down the hilt of it onto Aradan's head. She was quite sure it was dense enough to withstand the blow, and if it wasn't....then she would need a new shirt. "Learn to respect your elders, boy."
Grair looked down at the man, utterly unamused. He hated jokes about his size, it was not his fault that he was made for hard labor. He blinked at the woman as she brought down the hilt, "Where was that?" He asked curiously.
Maeth grinned and pointed to her chest, "My bindings." It was a joke, but the dwarf did not need to know that.
Grair's eyes narrowed and he sighed, "That was not necesarry to my life, lassie."
Maethoriel simply shrugged and returned the knife to a boot, which is where it normally was kept, "Well, you did ask."

[[All right, so Talathion will take the ring then. And don’t worry about not replying earlier smeag. ]]
Aramel nodded as Ryninial spoke, knowing very well just how many had become ill and needed attention in the Houses of Healing. “No doubt must something be done, but I fear we may have more pressing matters to discuss…” She followed Ryninial’s gaze before leaning in closer to her friend and speaking softly. “I have sensed a growing evil as of late, not only in my dreams, but here, inside the very gates of Rivendell. I believe I am not the only one to have been feeling it…” She glanced over at her brother, sitting a few seats away. “Talathion has been acting strangely as of late.”
Talathion shifted in his seat watching all of the strange people he had never seen before in the borders of Rivendell. Why the need for so many people? Surely what was going to be discussed at the council needn’t be heard by all of these different races, did it? Talathion suddenly felt sick to his stomach and sunk down in his chair.

Abagail smiled gleefully and lifted her hands up into the air and back down with a pat on her thighs like a excited little girl. She loved telling people of her origins. It only made them look in awe of her even more. "As for the exact place I am from, you will not know. No one knows. It is just a weasely little insignificant town. Therefore, as I tell the lot, I am front the front step of Hollywood. I was born in, live in it, breathe in it, and thrive in it."

Ryninial was gald that Aramel also understood the dangers of what was occuring around them. She had spoken to many of the elves of Rivendell who were in denial that the increasing amount of elves and men coming to their healing halls were coming from a growing danger, something much bigger than this age has seen. "I agree.. I have sensed something very dark, as if there is a dangerous pressure all around us... " She spoke as quietly to Aramel so that the others around them would not be able to hear their conversation.
Beralin looked beside him and noticed another male who was shifting and looking quite uncomfortable in this setting. Not only that, but the man looked like he was becoming ill, turning his head fully to look at the other he asked, "Are you feeling alright?"

"How did you get to Rivendell?" Balathor asked, continuing to ignore Abagail's snobby attitude. "I do not think you belong in this council."

"Out of the sky, sir," Abagail responded with a sort of "ah-duh" to her voice, "And I don't believe I should be in this any more than you do, but, that elf over there does," she mentioned with her finger pointed backwards, "and why would I even be here then?"
Abagail finished her moment of questioning and looked over at some other person's soap box on the other side of the room. She rolled her eyes and gave out a big sigh with her mind drowning about how she desperately wanted the insanity to stop.

Aramel nodded, glad that she was not the only one who had felt the blanket of darkness that was enveloping the pure lands. "Ryninial.. has my brother said anything to you? Anything.. odd?" She paused for a second to study her friend's expression.
Talathion glanced up at the man, only becoming more nervous. Not only was his expression noticable, but his stomach was doing flips and he was attracting attention. "No," he replied to Beralin, feeling small and helpless. He tapped his silken hands on the arm of the chair, wishing to get this over with, for he couldn't think straight at the moment.

"Nothing out of the ordinary, no. Why? Has he said anything odd to you?" Ryninial answered as she glanced over towards Aramel's brother, looking at him and noticing something was quite off about the man. It worried her and she only hoped that they would figure out what this darkness was soon. The pressure was increasing and the darkness was close, the elven healer could feel it in her very veins.
Beralin sighed hearing the man's answer, it was clear that he wasn't alright, but at least he was admitting it. Some people would deny they were not in a state of dispair when they obviously were. "Is there anything I can help with?"

Aramel shook her head. She looked at the ground, watching stray leaves slide in the gentle autumn wind. Aramel looked to Ryninial once more, a serious expression befalling her face. "That is just the thing. He hasn't spoken to me in the longest time. You know Talathion is not one to just cease speaking." She sighed. "I suppose I'm just worried is all. But what if he needs my help? I cannot give it to him unless he tells me what is wrong."
"I do not think you can help me... no one here can..." Talathion looked around the Council suspiciously. "I have this... secret..." His voice was barely a whisper, "and this council will uncover it, I believe...."

"He hasn't spoken to you! Now that is very strange. Talathion is not like that at all..." The news that Aramel's brother hadn't even spoken to her worried Ryninial even more. Hands idly tucked her blonde curls behind her ear as she looked over to her long friend Beralin who was currently speaking with Aramel's brother. Maybe he could get Talathion to speak.
"You won't know if we can help you if you don't speak. Your sister seems worried for you" He stated idly, he was a Ranger, he could pick up on things rather quickly.
