Midiras Mare became restless the mare shifted and snorted Midira coaxed the horse to be still with a quiet voice.

Silmarwen glanced at each of them, and upon seeing Artinwe's unease, she questioned, "Just to make things clear between us, which side do you happen to be on? None in particular I should guess... I am in search of the rebel leader... I have gone on my own in this for far too long, and have lost too many of my kin to delay. I heard rumor that many of the Phantoms are in service of the king... I do not doubt this is true."

"If you are on the kings side, how am I to know i can trust you?... are you willing to swear by all you hold dear and Deawen herself? And is it because many are turning to the king's side that I must act quickly to seek the assistance of the dragon tears? or has the king targeted them already as possible rebels?" Silmarwen questioned, her face holding a stern expression again. "Forgive me for the many questions, but even friend could turn out to be foe these days..."

"the Dragon tears are not targeted as rebles but neutral they remaine. " Artinwe looked stern Midira glanced at him she knew his love for Deawen was too much to be spoken in words Midira loved her mother but neither of them were spies but her father as a loyal servant of the king would have to tell of the elves being here... Deawen would have turned in her grave to know that such a tyrant was allowed to rule...."i am a loyal subject to the king i cannot betray such..."

Silmarwen sighed in desperation. "Very well then, tell the king of our being here, if you must, but know that the blood of all these elves you see here would be on your hands," her eyes had dulled slightly as hope faded, but her voice was calm. The elves around her murmured and Halbarad stepped up to her horse and Silmarwen leaned down to hear what he had to say. "Lady Silmarwen, should we keep them captive so to prevent the king finding us?" Silmarwen shook her head, "Nay, we shall not do such... let come what may come and we shall deal with it. I'd rather die fighting than cause trouble to these two before us and have our reputation marred in such a way..."

"Ada well could report there was nothing?" Midira said telepathicly
"yes we could do that" he responded "you do not have to worry about us telling of your where abouts it safe with us and capturing us would cause problems not only with the kings men but the Dragon tears..." he stopped he knew that was enough..

She nodded "a wise and well spoken threat," she said in a somewhat bitter manner but quickly added in a kinder tone, more fitting to her orginal personality, "I thank you, Artinwe, and I know that you risk much by not reporting seeing us. If ever you have need of assistance, be assured you can find it here among us." The other elves, including Halbarad, looked at them skeptically but Silmarwen wore a genuine smile. "But on another matter... Would the dragon tears assist us if we were to ask?"

Midira just couldn't help it but she knew silmarwen was the only one to trust she didn't want to be shot before leaving the forest.so ...."Ada i stay here to prove that you won't betray them..." Midira said Artinwe looked sharply at his daughter "it would be a good plan but i will not suffer you to be out of my sight....." "it would work..." Artinwe stared at his daughter she had her mothers mind always finding a way to make peace and sometimes break peace. "it comes to mind that you still do not trust us all the way...."he sighed "i am willing to leave my daughter with you to prove i won't betray you..."

Silmarwen looked offended, "You doubt the trust I speak of?" On the other hand, she looked relieved and almost hopeful; she knew Midira herself had offered to do so. With Midira on their side, they had that much more of a chance, especially if she were anything like her mother in the way of battle. Plus, perhaps then the dragon tears would be more willing to help? She dwelt on this for a while then nodded slowly, "I accept your offer..."
