From up ahead, the young elf turned back, and gave a somewhat lopsided bow- well, somewhat was not entirly corect... Combined with the speed she had been going, and the suddeness with whitch she had stopped carried her on, and she ended up in a rather painful looking pile of limbs.
She lay there for a moment, stunned.With any normal child, she would've surely dislocated her arm, the way it was 'hanging# there, yet she simply scrambled up again, apologising.

Meleth did not seem surprised, but brushed dry leaves and twigs off the young elf and said, "Our companions wish to know our destination. I think you can tell them better than I."

"We're going home!" Rhavaniel squeeled, clapping her hands with glee. She grabbed Meleth's hand again, and begann to tug her with her, somhow having found a childish adoration for the woman.

Meleth followed, smiling a little. She began to feel safer in Mirkwood than she had for a long time.
Suddenly her face changed. Words echoed inside her head...I will find you, little one... and she clenched her teeth, though that did nothing to alleviate the feeling of a malevolent presence in her mind. Go away! she thought desperately, but mocking laughter, heard only by her, was the only reply.
She tried to look as though nothing had happned but her face was very white, much paler than it had been before.

The elflings eyes widend slightly, as she regarded her with a strange attitude. her head lay slightly to the side, mouth only just open, brows knotted.
