"If you have a better idea, I'd be glad to hear it. But I was made captain of this venture, and I have thought this through, and have come up with what I feel to be best in the situation. But this being the first time I have been in command of any fighting body, I am open to the suggestions of the more experienced."

Jaden thought over the situation and decided to gather some men... those who would voluntere.

His plan was to set up in positions so when Darrell and his men came back they could give them cover from any enemies that might be persuing them.

Luinnar nods. "Yes, I know.... But I have headed many infiltration units, and I know how to find ways into places others can't....." She grins, and the flames in her eyes flicker dangeously. "There is always a back way into any fortress, it's called common sense..... If we can find the back way, we only need to send in a small crew, have the others cover us, get the info, an' get out.... As little loss of life as possible.... Your way would get us slaughtered, and we fave few enough men to spare as it is....."

"My way would not get us slaughtered. I have thought it through, and it will work, as long as we move fast, and give them no time to respond to our appearance... But i must ask, how will sending in a small group get us all the necessary information? How, for instance, will they find out how well guarded the gate, and walls are?" He looked questioningly at Luinnar, knowing that if this could be found out it would be the best option.

Luinnar grabs Darrell by the arm and propels him away from the group. "Alright, listen carefully... If a small group goes in, say, you, me, an' some of our choice fighters, disguise ourselves, make a sweep of the fortress and get info, and meet back.... It might take longer and be riskier to a few, but we won't lose as many as a full-out attack...."

Darrell nodded slowly after hearing Luinnar's plan. "OK, we'll do it that way. And I suggest you pick the troops to go. Because I don't have the faintest idea who would be good on such a mission. I'm much better at straight forward fighting, and open battle. And we need to get disguises, which i assume you know how to get"

Luinnar laughs. "You bet I know who t'pick, and how t'get disguises...." She turns away and walks back towards the fighters. "Meet me back at that tree in half an hour....."

The men were all ready, things set where they needed to be to cover the returning group.

Darrell turned and went towards the tree, "no need for the half hour bit, I'll be there already, I have nothing else to do"

Luinnar returns in little less than half an hour, bringing with her five handpicked men, three from her ship and two elves. The ones from her ship are hardened warriors, one with scimitars, one with hooks, and another with a greased noose and twin knives. The two elves look dark and rather sinister, for elves......
