(Right... here's me hoping to start this RP up again

With a very long post...)
Goldleaf walked over towards the trees again, leaving her companions to regain their strength and eat. She darted through them and walked a little way down the hill. Once she had started walking, it seemed only sensible to continue. The others weren't going anywhere, so she would have some time to herself. Halfway down the grassy slope, she sat down, resting her head on her knees and wrapping her arms around her legs. She could see Osgiliath properly from here, see the glittering flash of the river. Osgiliath was as white and beautiful as she remembered it. A smile spread on her face as she looked at her old homeland. She had not been there in so very long.
However, even sitting relaxed as she was, her hearing was still alert. She could hear footsteps and voices. She scrambled up from her sitting position, her hand moving to the hilt of her sword.
"No need for that, lass," a voice called up to her. Two rangers were walking up the hill towards her. They were dressed in green with their hoods up. She dropped her hand from the hilt and the first one nodded and smiled grimly.
"That's better," he said. "We've come to escort you and your group to Osgiliath."
Goldleaf frowned. "What for?" she said. "We can make it there perfectly fine by ourselves."
"We've got orders," the second one said, "to escort you. This isn't a pleasant area to be travelling about alone in these days. And after what happened in your... well, cross with the orcs the other day, we don't want a repeat performance."
Goldleaf nodded slowly and looked at them properly. They had come here to do a job, and wanted her to cooperate.
"Alright," she said, quietly. The first ranger walked up to her.
"Take us to where your friends are, and we'll lead the way," he said. Goldleaf sighed and turned, leading them back on the path she had taken down the hill, back towards the trees, beyond which her companions were still sitting.
"Don't be alarmed," she said to them. "These two men are to escort us to Osgiliath, for our safety."
