"Please. My plan was to send scouts to the east of their position and have the orcs believe we are heading toward them then run them back drawing the orcs away from the villagers."

Arinae closed her eyes a moment, her head still bowed. She didn't answer the elf, seeming very annoyed at her stubborness. Bringing her gaze to the fire, she replied to Rhayader. "That might be wise.... except, they are still over an hour's ride away, not counting how much it would take to get around them without it being noticed, and if the riders were to cut the time down by riding their swiftest, they may be too weary to lead them away in enough time for us to move on tomorrow.... but it's a possibility, if we were to have our freshest horses ride out, they might make it...."

"I recomend you send a usual number for a scouting group. Orcs are cunning indeed, any more or less and they sespect something."
Rhayader yawned.
"But I recomend you only send them when the villagers are close to the goal."

"Then have one of your riders take Lebethron, " said Tindomerel, with a sigh, "He is swift and fresh..."
Tindomerel behind her to see Lebthron munching on grass, happily and carefree. "If only we could all have that peace," said Tindomerel, with a heavy sigh.
She turned back to Arinae. "He will bare whom I wish and rides smoothly," she said, laying back down, grabbing a blanket from her packs and using Nimloth as a pillow.

Arinae nodded, then suddenly shook her head. "I don't see how they would go for the scouts when they have their eye on the group, and it's not just orcs we're dealing with, it's men as well, with better tactics than orcs could have..." she was becoming slightly confused, and her head hurt, making the confusion worse. She let out a sigh and held her head in her hands to gather her thoughts.

Arinae finally came to a decision. "I'll send a few out tonight, and have them wait on the east side until an hour after dawn, then I'll have them send one out, southeast, in the direction of helm's deep, then a few hours later, the other few will head the same direction, so as to seem as headers riding ahead of a group, then that activity should distract the enemy long enough for the villagers and the main group to make head way...." She looked to Rhayader for aproval of this plan.

"Are you healed enough for that?" Arinae question with concern, then questioned on a more technical matter, "Are you skilled in riding enough to ride hard when needed and remain on your horse at all times, unless he falls?"

Tindomerel nodded, amber eyes still closed. "That could work..." she said, thinking hard to see if she could come up with any thing too.
Nothing came to her mind. "You do realize that if they don't take the bait..." started Tindomerel, then stopping herself.

Tindomerel looked at Rhayader, startled.

"I can ride as good as any of your men. I feel healed enough."
He turned to Tindomerel.
"Trust me they will take the bait, I can be vry persuasive."
He smiled and held up an arrow.

Arinae shook her head, "Don't fire upon them unless you must.... just act as if you're determined.... make sure one rides out shortly before dawn, then ride after him a while after... try to keep conflicts to a minimal, then after you have reached the hills, make your way to Edoras. The villagers should be safely there by then..."

"Take Lebethron with you," said Tindomerel, "Since your horse seems to have disappeared. He's no horse of Rohan, but his speed can match that of any rohirrim horse. "
Tindomerel also knew that Lebethron would watch over the ranger. She then grabbed her pack, fishing though it. "Here's some extra arrows," said Tindomerel, handing his more arrows, "I'm still useless with them, so..."

Arinae glanced towards the horses, "I shall have the steeds who are the closest in the line of Shadowfax and they will bear the other riders going with you...." She stood to see to the task. She soon came back with four riders on their steeds, and nodded to Rhayader. "Send one first, then keep the other three with you and follow later," she repeated the instructions and glanced into the darkness. "Be sure to circle round far enough so as not to alert any scouts they might have."

"Oh, and Rhayader," said Tindomerel, whistling for Lebethron, "Don't die, 'kay? Because if you do, then I'll never learn how to shot a bow correctly!"
Lebethron trotted over and Tindomerel whispered a few Elvish words in his ear. The stallion whinnied and trotted over to Rhayader, ready to go.

Tindomerel stood up, using Nimloth to support herself. "Good luck," she whispered.
Tindomerel then gave Rhayader a peck of a kiss on the cheek. "May Eru protect you."
She blushed, looking down at her shoes.
