Rhayader thought now was the time. He raised the men and got them onto their horses. Rhayader mounted Lebethron and smiled.
"A fine animal."
He patted the horse's neck and then turned him around. Rhayadler lead the men along the bottom of the hill so they moved slightly away from the camp. When he thought they had gone far enough he stopped them.
"OK I will head over the top and race toward the cave. You pop up here after five minuets. Get their attention if you need to."
He nodded to them all and spun Lebethron around.
"I hope this works." He muttered to himself.
He kicked the horse into a gallop and raced down the hill side.

Jax rode along silently as they continued onward.
Then looking up from the ground infront of him he noticed off in the distance an old camp sight.
Alarm in his eyes he moved over to Arinae. "How many of those have we passed?" he asked pointing it out.

Arinae glanced at the camp sights, "Around three, but the scouts who went ahead, reported the inhabitants moved to the east and joined with the larger group which Rhayader is now trying to mislead."

"Those are the men who I came to the town with. There will be a great number of men with them... I don't know if our numbers will hold against them." jax replied.

Arinae shook her head slowly, "Then let us hope Rhayader suceeds in his task of drawing their attention away from us." She let out a sigh and looked ahead again.
They had moved forward without rest for nearly half the day, and the villagers were too weary to handle the wounded. Arinae called for a couple hours of rest, knowing that they would need to keep moving to make it there not long after the sun set.
Arinae remained in the saddle, glancing over the men and villagers carefully, and praying for the safety of Rhayader and the few riders with him.

Rhayader reached the bottom of the hill and looked at the encampment. A few orcs noticed him then began shouting to the others. Soon there were orcs running after him followed by men on horseback. Rhayader rode harder. It would be a close call to reach the cave. Just then he the orcs shouted louder. He looked across and saw the orcs pointing up the hill at the four riders.
Rhayader smiled and looked up them, they began firing off a few arrows to really get their attention. Soon the orcs were now charging up the hill toward them and the riders turned and began riding away.
"Good."
Rhayader was now at the entrance of the cave. He dismounted and lead Lebethron inside. The cave was not as big as he expected and was not too long. There were boulders to hide behind, big enough even for the horse. They hid behind the biggest one and Rhayader hoped the orcs didn't follow him in. The horse whinned slightly.
"Shh Lebethron, we need to stay quiet."
Rhayader kept his head looking out to the entrance from the shadows.

Tindomerel sat on the chestnut mare, thinking about what Arinae had said. She had been thinking about it very long and very hard. "Well...she is right," she said, looking at Nimloth, who trotted by the nervous mare's side.
Nimloth looked at Tindomerel, blinking. "I never listen to orders," she said, looking back to the road, "I guess, I took joy in breaking orders. I never listened to Father, or Elrohir and Elladan...or Elessar...I could barely keep my cover at Pelnnor Fields..."
Nimloth cocked his head at the elf. "I am no solider," said Tindomerel, in a light whisper, "Arinae is right... I can just fight well... I'll have to work on being more of a solider...and ducking in cover whenever Eomer's around. I don't think he ever forgave me for being so bold at Pelnnor..."

Rhayader heard someone coming closer he ducked down behind the boulder. The horse did the same and Rhayader looked at it in wonder.
"Clever..."
The footsteps came closer and then he heard the voices. Coarse and evil.
"Where is he? I'm sure he went in 'ere."
Rhayader had his sword out already and was ready to fight them off if he needed to.
"I saw him for def come in 'ere, come on go further down."
The second orc sounded to be bigger then the first as his voice was lower.
The footsteps came closer to the boulder. What Rhayader couldn't see was that the first orc had caught sight of the horse's tail. The group was now right next to it. Rhayader breathed hevily. It had gone quiet, too quiet for his liking. He peeked his head around and jumped back as an axe came down on him. It barely missed. Rhayader rose to his feet ducked the first and stabbed the second orc. There were another three, and they all charged at once. Rhayader ducked and one killed another.
He lept at the third and sliced his head off. The last orc ran at him with his sword high. Rhayader simply knelt down and let the orc run into his sword.
Rhayader cleaned his sword with his cloak.
"Come on Lebethron."
The horse rose to his feet and walked up to Rhayader. He patted the horse and smiled.
"Time to get out of here."
He lead the horse to the cave entrance. He stopped and poked his head out. The first thing he saw was a number of men and orcs with swords about 20 feet away. They all looked at him with snarls and pointed their blades at him. Rhayader cursed and sighed. There were too many to take on by himself. They just stood there snarling at him. He ducked back inside and looked at horse.
"Lebethron I don't know if you understand me or not but you need to get back to Arinae and Tindomerel. Go!"
The horse appeared to understand and whinned. Both Rhayader and Lebethron raced out of the cave, the man toward the orcs, the horse to the hills trying to get back to Arinae. Luckily there were no bows so the horse was able to run free.
Rhayader charged headlong into them swing his sword violently. He managed to slice a couple of heads off before he got a knock to the back the head and fell to his knees.
"Ugh..."
Another one soon left him unconcious.

Arinae turned her head sharply at a whinny. "Tin! It's your horse! What the..." her face took on a troubled look. They could see the gates of Edoras far ahead, but the light of day was quickly fading, and a group of men and orcs were following not far behind the horse in the distance. When the enemy saw the company, they moved forward in attempt to block their path. "*insert curse word* There's still too much distance! Thren, sound the horn!" The rider beside her sounded a horn and it was answered by one off in the distance within Edoras. Now there would be assistance. What came of Rhayader.... Arinae glanced towards the fast approaching horse, then the gathering force attempting to come between them and safety. She had to think quickly.
"Company assemble, front!" She called out and the men assigned for attack came forward in a triple line behind her. The enemy had obviously underestimated their need for numbers, and had sent a relatively small group, now somewhat worn from chasing after Tin's horse. Arinae took this into account, and ordered the charge. The lines rushed forward, quickly gaining ground on the enemy and the ends of the line of riders seemed to wrap around and embrace the group.
Arinae whipped her horse around, "Jax, followed through with this attack, I have something to take care of... Lady Tin, follow me" She again whipped her horse in the direction from which Lebethron had come and lead with her ten men, leaving Jax in charge of the battling company, and the villagers under the charge of Thren.

Tindomerel had been riding, pondering what she should do about herself after the villagers made it safely to Rohan. She looked up at the sound of a whinny. "Lebethron," she whispered, kicking the mare out of the line she was traveling in.
With a sharp whistle, she called the stallion to her. She dismounted off the other horse and hopped on her stallion.
Tindomerel heard Arinae and followed, Nimloth running along side the stallion.

Jax nodded and sprung into action. He ran his horse over to a younger soldier and grabed the man's bow and arrows. "Stay in the back." he told him.
Jax spurred his horse into a full gallope straight for the enemy lines.
"Follow me! Attack! Let the lands be safe!" Jax yelled out. The men formed in behind him as he charged.
On te charge he quickly stuck every arrow in his bow that he had. Running, he grew closer and closer to the enemy. From twenty feet away he fired the fifty or more arrows into the middle of the company of men and orcs, a man falling for every two or three arrows.
Hitting the front lines Jax pushed off his horse and jumped to the ground, sword out flailing skillfuly.
He blocked the attack, ducked, jumped, kicked an orc int he head and spun around stabing behind him a man in the stomach.
Pulling out his sword he ducked beneith another swinging sword, comming up int the orc hard, twsiting to his left and swing his sword out, blocking an attack, sliding off the end of the man's sword and cutting an orc head off. At that same time he grabbed the sword of the orc he had previously stabbed and threw it through the air into an incomming enemy.

Arinae spurred Stardance into a break-neck speed, but kept an eye out for the enemy and for Rhayader. Suddenly she sat straight in the saddle, pulling her steed to a jaunty trot. She point south-east towards a bloch in the distance. "There! Lady Tin, is that an orc group? What is it they seem to have in the center? I can see what they are or might be, but alas my sight is not so gifted as an elf's ..."

Jax Jumped head first, just missing a crossbow arrow that was shot at him. He grabbed a fallen sword and hurled it through the air into the orc.
Another attack was soon upon him and he was forced to dodge. There was an orc comming from each direction. The one behind stabbed forwards and Ja twisted, grabbing the orcs blade and stabbing it into the the advancing orc infront of him.
He then stabbed the orc infront of him with his own sword, grabbed the orcs sword and threw it into a man who was ready to swing at one of the soldiers
