(I promise I'm not stalking the forum entirely... I'm home fpr a week due to a work related injury so I have nothing but boredom to keep me company until next Monday. Lol)

When Sygnet woke Micha stirred. Had had caught up enough on his sleep that the slightest sound stirred him now. He glanced around the room before his eyes settled on Sygnet. "Your awake?" He stated more than asked really. He stood groggily to his feet and shuffled over to her bedside again. "How are you feeling? How is your side?"

Sygnet smiled at him, "It is better now. I hardly feel it. It's a little numb but that is alright. I won't be going any where," her face suddenly went serious and she frowned, "What about you? You slept a lot, I know and that was without a sleeping potion. You were exhausted," she told him, a little upset because she felt like it was her fault that he didn't sleep. He was too busy worrying about her. There were probably other issues but it still made her upset. She worried about him a lot.

( lol I hope so. As much as it's nice to have a break from work I didn't really want to come by it this way. )

"Don't worry about me," he assured her. Taking her hand in his. "I feel better than I've felt since I left bree before we met. I always wear myself out on adventures, come back, and then lay around for days." He smiled trying to lighten her mood. "We both have our chance to heal, rest, and relax now. Like you said we won't be going anywhere anytime soon."

Sygnet smiled, "Can you get the healer? So I can ask her if I can get up? I want to show you around," she patted him arm lightly and glanced towards the door to the entrance hall of the Healer's Flet.

"Of course," Micha said, standing up and heading over to where the healer was. He called her over and soon the two of them were back to Sygnet's bedside. Micha had to admit, he was anxious to see the sights around Lorien.

Sygnet and the healer traded a few words and the healer agreed to let her leave, as long as she returned that even for a checkup that evening. Sygnet got up and dressed behind the curtain. When she finished she walked towards the door with Micha and led him around the whole of Caras Galadhon.

Micha wholly enjoyed the tour of the city. It was truly an amazing place and Sygnet seemed much more at peace here. As their evening drew towards an end Micha became a little wrestles. Something had been bothering him ever since they had arrived. He was hesitant to ask Sygnet about it but he knew it would come up sooner or later.

"Sygnet," he said, mustering the courage to bring up the subject. "I have a question I have to ask..."

Sygnet stopped her chatter and looked at him, "What is it?" she asked, genuinely concerned with his tone. She didn't like the way it sounded and it made her nervous.

"I..." he started and paused. "I'm not really sure how to start this..." he shuffled around a bit. "I'm not good at these things." He took a deep breath and imagined he was simply looking forwards into another great adventure. That helped...a little bit. "I get the impression your father never liked your late husband much... because he was human. I'm human too...I just."

He paused and tried to collect his thoughts. "I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't know how to act around you here... even in general. I don't know if I need to pull back and give you more space, if you feel like I don't express my feelings enough... and I don't know what would be appropriate around an elvin culture. This probably sounds ridiculous to you..."

Sygnet tilted her head at him and her eyebrows creased quizzically. She didn't really know where it was headed. She didn't really know what her late husband had to do with all this but she allowed him to continue.

Micha took a deep breath. "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have even brought it up. I guess I just feel uncomfortable about being here because I feel as though all the elves are going to look at us being together as a bad thing. I guess in a way I'm afraid I won't be accepted by your father... and even though it may make no sense it makes me worry that I won't be accepted by you..."

Sygnet reached up and kissed him softly, "Micha, I love you and that was centuries ago. I was a widow and that would have happened either way. He was not someone my father liked but he was someone who was loved and respected. My father met you. He likes you," she did her best to comfort him. She knew it was hard for him and all she could do was explain it in the best away possible.

Micha wrapped his arms around Sygnet as he returned the kiss, then pulled her in to a hug. He then looked into her eyes with a smile. "I love you, very much," he told her. "I'm sorry I even troubled you with this. I should have just let it go. You mean more to me than anyone ever has... I've driven myself crazy worrying about all our adventuring and what might happen if one of these times something goes wrong."

Micha looked around at Lothlorien, the trees and houses around were magnificent. "Maybe we should stay here. Call it home. I've probably put my body through enough pain on my misadventures anyways."

Sygnet looked up at him, "I would like that. We could take trips to Rohan and take a break from all the serious elves here," she laughed gently, "I've had enough injuries to last me a lifetime. Dozens of lifetimes, as a matter of fact, so I would be more than happy to spend another with you," she smiled gently.

Micha felt a flit of fear at the concept of settling down but it quickly vanished as he looked at Sygnet's smile. "Then, perhaps now that we aren't running for our lives, we can have proper outing? I'm sure you know some good spots we could visit. We could have a pick nick, just go for a walk, whatever you feel like."

He glanced off towards the stables. "Maybe even just go for a ride together. I'm sure the horses are going to get jealous if they get left out." He laughed a bit... though it was probably true.

Sygnet nodded, "That would be nice," she chuckled lightly, "I can show you my favorite tree," she grinned excitedly, "It's this beautiful Mallorn that overlooks the Anduin and you can see Caras Galadhon from it and it's just...beautiful," she had gotten a little carried away again.
