Elenaath found his visit to isengaurd very fruitfull.he did not find gandalf,but he learned that Saruman was producing orcs.and so he might at any time join with Sauron. he decided to go to rohan to warn the peole of what was happening. he was crossing the entwash now. he must get there soon he had a feeling that Saruman was about to unleash his army

When Elenath got to Meduseld,no one was there, he feared that the orcs had already been through. no he thought,they would have burned everything, Helms deep,he thought,swiftly,he turnedaround and left to get there quickly
