Tindomerel had faught fiercely, her eyes watching her surroundings. She kept half an eyes out for Arinae. Tindomerel sat on Lebethron, tall and proud. She managed to survive the battle, with nothing but a few bruises and a few small cuts. She followed Arinae. She had her hair tumbling down on her shoulders now. She stood by Arinae and Rhayader, watching silently in the shadows, her cloak wrapped about her, closely, hood over her head.
Tindomerel slipped out of the shadows, silent like a cat. She looked at Arinae. "You should rest," said Tindomerel, firmly to the woman.
Her hair was just about as annoying as before. It still wouldn't stop falling in her face. She remembered that Arinar hadn't really seen her with her shorter hair. "It's just me," said Tindomerel, pulling back her hood and tucking a strand of her hair behind her ponted ears, "Tin."

(Erm.... you weren't supposed to be in the battle.... Arinae gave you permission to stay with Rhayader in the Battlements.... but oh well.... >< )
Arinae recognized the face easily but was a little surprised to see the elf's hair cut, but she didn't question her. "There is no rest for those who must stay alert... for those who have the responsibility of an entire army..." She replied quietly. Leaning back against a rock, she wet a cloth with some of her water and began to wipe the blood from the slice across her forehead. She winced but for the most part paid heed to neither pain nor the blood that again slipped into her eyes.
She stood once again, forcing her balance to steady. "It is time... we cannot let the enemy regain their composure..." She climbed into her saddle without further word and pulled her Rohirrim helmet over her head. She rode through the encampment, silently having the men put more wood on their fires then abandon them and move towards the enemy. She sent a signal by way of an arrow fired carefully into Jax's and then Thren's camp, the sign to move foreward.
Before following her men, she turned her horse towards Rhayader and Tin. "If you wish to come, there are spare horses, but otherwise I suggest you make your way back to the wall, for soon all h ell will break loose," she stated bluntly then rode at a silent pace.

((Blah!!!! I sure to mess up alot!!! Next time you can hit me in the head. Does that sound good?))
Tindomerel pulled her hair back again, with a strap of fabric. She pulled her hood back over her head. She whistled for Lebethron, who had been nearby. She took a minute to mount, then an idea clicked in her head.
She rode after Arinae. This idea was both dangerous and compleatly insane, but it would be effective.
"Arinae, wait!" said Tindomerel, trotting Lebethron next to Arinae's horse, "I have an idea. You're going to thing it's crazy, but it could work. Okay, we take the fire weapons and place them beyond them. We run them near them, then fire arrows from a distance."

(Ok )
"Shush...." Arinae hushed her, then whispered, "We need silence right now... " She listened to the elf for a moment then dropped her gaze thoughtfully, keeping her voice to a whisper. "It would take the strength of many men and horses to pull the weapons that far, and they are a little too noticible for our current sneak attack... I only want them for last defence.... they seem strange and almost evil contraptions...." She gave a slight shudder. "Jax has come up with a plan to drive them into our surprise attack with arrows fired by way of something his men rigged up... then the two sides will close in again, but we can pull back after a while to spare men and try your plan.... the enemy would certainly be surprised...."

Jax recieved the "message" and began to move the men out. They would circle around behind the enemy comming in from behind, leaving only one man with a horse to fire the arrows that lined the hill.

"They are evil," said Tindomerel, lowering her voice, her mind whizzing with someway they could defend themselves, "We would also have to make sure that none of our men get left behind with the fire-weapons. They would also have to be lined up perfectly, so if we set one alight, the others will set off in a chain..."
Tindomerel also thought to herself, that she did not want to even see them blowing up. She couldn't handle seeing it. The damage it did made her afraid. She tucked at her hair, hidden under she hood.

"They mentioned they designed catapults of somesort for them, so none of our own men would be harmed if they can fire them accurately..." Arinae replied quietly. "Alright.... we stop here," she whispered as they came nearer to the enemy encampment. She waited for Jax to have his men make the first move, her hand raised and ready to drop when it would be time to charge. Blood slipped in her eyes still from the slice in her forhead but she remained still, ignoring it.

Jax looked across the land, covered in men and wemon prepaired for battle. Arinae and her men were ready.
He sent the signal to the man on the hill who then emerged into sight of the enemy and pulled the rope sending hundreds of arrows into the enemy camps.
The men and orcs were caught off guard, there numbers falling in a sea of projectiles that cut through them like a blade.
Jax waited for Arinae to attack from the front, then they would surprise the enemy once more by there attack from behind.

Tindomerel cocked her head, thinking hard. She then spoke. "But it pointless shooting them out. I mean, you could to that and hit some people in the heads, but then you'd have to re target it to set it ablaze."
The elf realized that they must think the can set it on fire before they shoot it out. That would cause it to explode, killing everyone around them. "They can't set it on ablaze before they fire it," said Tindomerel, "As soon as fire touchs them, they explode."

"We'll discuss it later," Arinae replied in a somewhat annoyed manner.
Arinae let her hand drop and with a battle cry, the Rohirrim surged forward in a see of horse and spears, coming down hard upon the enemy. Thren's command joined Jax's from off to the side and the attack resulted in nearly surounding the enemy encampment and taking down many before they had even reached their weapons.

Jax raced through the camp, hacking and slicing orcs and men to the ground. He clouded his mind with anger, and hatred.
It had go to the point where that was the only way he could kill somone in battle.

Tindomerel had nodded, silently, sensing that Arinae was under pressure. She followed Arinae down, hacking down orcs and men. Her sword moved with skill, whipping about. She grabbed a spear from one of the dieing orcs. She threw the spear at an orc. It landed straight at its mark.
"Fine shot, milady," said one of the nearby Rohirrim, nodding at her, "I didn't know that elves knew how to weild a spear."
"They don't," said Tindomerel, cutting down another orc, "That was the first time I ever used a spear."

Jax swung, hacking off another head that fell rolling to the ground. Blocking another attack he jumped up and kicked an incoming orc.
The orc fell onhis blade that was swiped down to the thing and then brought up to block another attack.

Rhayader had gone back to the battlements to watch from a safe distance. It seemed to be going very well.
(You mind if I did something? in my next post?)

(o.o Modest aren't we Tin? lol Nope don't mind, Malrid, in fact I'll give you something to do....)
Arinae hacked away at the orcs. Sword was her weapon, though she knew how to use a spear, she prefered to get close with her skill. The Rohirrim fought well, and the battle continued, with hardly any fatality on the side of the Rohirrim. Finally Arinae came upon the leader of the enemy, who now weilded a spear. She kept her distance for a while then whipped her horse around to circle the leader who was still upon the only horse among the men and orcs.
He turned as well, keeping his spear point towards her, but Arinae rode forward, ducking under the aimed tip and made a back hand swing with her sword, snapping the spear in half. The tall and heavy built leader drew his own blade and engaged in well placed blows, Arinae barely managing to hold her own against the strength of his well weilded blade.
He finally unseated her from her saddle and she groaned as she hit the ground, laying there for a moment to catch a breath. The battle went on around them, but Arinae had her attention on the leader alone. He now towered over her completed, still upon his horse. He grabbed a spear from a passing soldier and threw it down towards Arinae with the intention of pinning her to the ground.
Arinae grabbed a shield from a dead orc beside her and held it in front of her just in time to stop the spear from going through her, though it stuck fast in the shield itself.
Grabbing the spear, she whacked the guy in the side of his head with the blunt end, and once he was on the ground, she pulled the pointed end from the shield and stood to her full hight. "Never insult the king.... and never insult me...." she muttered through gritted teeth then ran the spear through the leader's chest.
Seeing this, half the orcs fled, but many of the men remained, now fighting with anger at what had happened. The remaining orcs were ordered by the second in command, to head on and attack the walls of Edoras. The orcs broke through th main defence and took off running for the wall, makeshift ladders being thrust up and banging starting on the gates.
(o.o Wowy I wrote a lot.... )
