Elenriel quickly departed from the council room to change into a green elven tunic given to her by Lady Arwen before the meeting. As she stood alone in the room, she gently fingered the bow and daggers given to her by Legolas before fastening the weapons to her back. She then hurried to gather some necessary supplies. Upon returning to the council room she met with Lady Arwen. “Thank you for the gifts, my lady.” Arwen nodded and smiled at her. “Take care Elenriel. May the grace of the Valar protect all of you. Namárië.” Elenriel smiled at her once more before returning to the council room to bid farewell to Legolas. “I’m sorry for my rude departure at the Council.” she said softly. Legolas shook her head, smiling at her. “Do not dwell on it. You are traveling with your friends. I wish you the best.” “Thank you for everything,” she replied bowing before him. Legolas bent and rose her to her feet. “Namárië, Elenriel. Until our paths cross again.” With that she gave him a warm smile before turning to wait for her friends at the gate.

Larael headed off toward the armoury to get some type of weapon for the journey. She was looking for something light weight, but still deadly.

She looked around and spotted a bow that looked to fit her just right. She hoisted it over her shoulder, and strapped on a a pack with arrows. Still not satisfied she slipped a short knife into her boot before going back up to here room to pack clothing and other necessary materials.

Melda followed them to the armoury, figuring that she was going to need weapons. She stood and looked at them all for a long time and finally chose some light pieces that she could wear easily, and a small sword. She didn't bother with a bow.
She went back to her small, pretty room and packed the rest of her things, including some food, and wished that she had some soap to bring as well.
Smiling to herself, Melda packed some rope and tried to think if there was anything else she needed.

Luthien walked towards the armoury, but at the last moment changed her mind. Returning to her chambers, she conveniently found a green riding outfit, cloak and boots waiting for her. Dressing quickly, she then went to the kitchen for lembas and such, then to the armoury.

By talking to the Elf assisting her, she discovered that two of her party had already been there. Choosing a small Elven sword, she left the armoury and went to find the last few things she needed, such as blankets. She had decided not to get a bow, as with her skills, there was no chance she would hit anything she aimed at, and didn't wish to hurt anyone.

After picking up her last items, Luth found the gate and greeted a fellow traveller, she thought her name might be Elenriel. She had never been good at remembering so many names in so short a time.

Lhunardaien went to her room again, and there she took the new clothes that were dropped there, and she packed her old clothes. She also took her bow, and took some new arrows from the armoury of Rivendell. After that she went to the kitchen, and there she took bread and fruit. She packed it together in her big pack, and wandered to the gate, where she found Elenriel and Luthien standing together. ' I don't know how you did get here, but Nocturne and I came by horse, so we have one or two horses to use here...' Lhun said calm.

Darrell smiled at the greeting he recieved from FaZ. And as the group dipersed to prepare for the journey Darrell wandered slowly around Rivendell, taking it all in, and admiring the architecture. As he had already made a long journey he was already kitted out for travelling, bar food. When this though hit, he wandered with a little more purpose, in search of kitchens, or some such place where he could procure some victuals for the trip.

After a short wander he found a kitchen of sorts, where an elf supplied him with enough food for a decent length journey. The food was simple, wholesome and easy to carry, and included a flask of the elven draught Miruvor.

Having stowed it all in his pack he took a glance at his attire. It was dusty, and slightly worse for wear, but still serviceable. Then it struck him that there were violent times to come in middle-earth, and a padded gambeson does not offer much by way for armoured protection. And that coupled with the fact that his clothing was no longer new caused him to head his steps in the direction of the armoury.

Once there he found a simple cream coloured cloth shirt, and a reddy brown leather jerkin which would offer reasonable protection from arrows. At that point an elf came in and suggested that, as Darrell was looking for light items that would not encumber him greatly but would offer reasonable protection, he take a shirt of chainmail too. It was elven made and therefore not heavy and could be carried in a pack without much trouble.

With this done, he packed his new acquisitions into his pack - which was now very full - and headed to the main gate to meet with the others.

Afraid she'd be late and that the group would leave without her Larael threw the rest of her cloths and some food pell-mell into her pack. Throwing it over her shoulder she dashed out of the room, down the corridor, down a few flights of stairs, and into the courtyard. She continued past groups of bewildered Elves walking about in the gardens, and in her haste ran right into several people standing by the gatehouse.

Larael blushed,"Sorry... just didn't want to be late, ya know?"
She brushed herself off and picked up some her fallen items, along with others that she had managed to knock to the ground too.

Melda finished obsessed over what to bring and dashed outside. She spotted the group by the gate and rushed over, nearly tripping over the sheathed sword hanging from her belt. She smiled sheepishly. "Erm...guess it's going to take some getting used to, carrying a weapon..."

Ellethwen seized her bag, feeling rushed and ticked off. She hurried to the gate, noticing that pretty much everyone had gotten there before her.

She mumbled things under her breath, then greeted the others. "Sorry for being late, but it's an unfortunate habit of mine."

[OOC: I'm not sure, FaZ hasn't posted yet either.]
Luth greeted all the newcomers and admired Ellie's swordsmanship, though she would never admit it. Like some warning bell had gone off, three girls came rushing towards them, the first knocking into her. Turning out to be Larael, Luth accepted her apology and helped her pick up the things they both had dropped.

Gwenneth packed as much as she could before meeting up with the others, including food, changes of clothes, and a dagger, bow, arrows, and a quiver...just incase.

"So sorry I'm late, everyone," she said a bit breathlessly as she met up with the group, feeling stressed. Forcing an eager smile, she sighed briskly. "How is everyone? Is this it?"

"I'm fine Gwen, thanks," Larael replied," Not sure if everyone's here. Looks like FaZ hasn't arrived yet."

"Here I am, Larael!" said FaZ appearing behind her back. "So now we are in complete. Haha, I've just settled some amazing horses for us! Look!" He turned around and pointed at a group of beautifull palfreys with full equipment: saddles etc.. "Nice, eh? Elrond is really hearty. He's a pretty awesome guy."
"So, Ellie..." FaZiovsky turned to the man in blue armour "... can we go now?"

Melda looked at the horses and felt a little apprehensive. She had secretly hoped they would be walking but she sighed and accepted the fact that that was rather unrealistic. I guess if I don't fall off, that's the main thing, she told herself.

[We can make as many posts as we like in a day here, right?]

Gwenneth looked as if she could kiss FaZ right on the spot. The entire trip looked millions of times brighter with the company of horses.
"Ohh, thank you so much," she said quietly, advancing on the beasts, stroking their noses. Which one? she thought to herself.
Gwenneth's eyes came upon a rich brownie-shaded horse, which was the tallest of them all. And he certainly was a big horse...very sturdy looking. Her hand, which had been resting on his neck, just behind his ear, fell to the reins, and she grasped them.
"I think I'll claim this guy if nobody minds," she beamed. Then she passed some of her own load onto the horse.

[Aye, I suppose ;)]

"Good choice, Gwen!" FaZ laughed "Em, let me think... I'll take this one!" He pointed at a snow white horse, a bit shorter than Gwen's one.
"I'm not much into horses, but he will be for sure pretty good. I like the colour" FaZ smirked "You are an expert, Gwen, so what do you think?"

[I'm sleepy so this post is quite short :). Ok, we should finally leave Rivendell...]
