Micha nodded, eyes still surveying their surroundings. "I'm sure we can easily enough be in and out wothout trouble," he agreed.

Sygnet gently nudged her horse into motion and headed down the hill, towards the town. It was a small village. A plots of farm were nestled around the tightly knit houses. Cows and chickens ran across the roads. A local blacksmith was hammering away in his shop across from the Tavern. She dismounted from her horse and led her towards the stables, where a young boy ran up to them.

"Staying the night, miss?" he asked Sygnet shyly.

"Yes. We are. Take care of the horses for us," she removed her bag from Vorn's saddle and handed him a golden coin.

Micha dismounted as wel and whispered a soft word to Syndar who seemed a little shy of the stranger, though he was just a boy. He handed the boy the reins and nodded to him, saying nothing. He glanced around the town. It Had been a long time since he had been in a town like this... In most of his adventures he camped out in the wilds. In a strang sort of way this place almost reminded him of the village he was born in and he wasn't sure if he liked that or disliked it.

Micha glanced to Sygnet as he, too grabbed his things off of Syndar's saddle. The horse still acted sour over having to wear the saddle. "Perhaps we should lounge around the tavern and see if we catch any gosip about elves or strangers traveling through the area? Without having to ask directly." He said hisnwords softly so none else could hear but Sygnet.

Sygnet nodded and made her way to the Inn and tavern, "we can also get a room here," she mentioned quietly. She pushed open the door and approached the bar, laying down a few coins, "A room please?" she asked the barkeep who was busy wiping down the counter with a wash cloth.

Micha nodded, following Sygnet into the tavern. He tossed an aditional coin on the table and added, "And a cup of something strong." He didn't really drink alcohol often if at all, but it was expected that travelers would. Sonto look "normal" he figured he would order a drink.

He looked at Sygnet. "Would you like a drink or anything to eat?" He asked.

Sygnet nodded, "Same thing for me," she smiled and lay down another coin and then went for a table right by the fire where it was well lit. Quite the contrast to her automatic reaction to go to the darkened corner and put up her hood like the dark and mysterious stranger she always was. The inn was actually quite busy for being so early in the evening. Many merchants and travelers stopping by for rest and food.

Micha walked over to the table, trying not to show his discomfort as to Sygnet's choice of tables. He knew this wasn't her typical choice and figured her reasons. He sat down, trying to keep his back facing as few people as possible and his face looking out towards the majority of the crowd.

Once seated he let out a weary sigh. Their travels were taxing him already and he looked forward to a long restful night. He didn't seem to be in "traveling shape" quite like he used to be.

Micha looked over to Sygnet in silence for a moment, noticing that their drinks were on the way. He nodded a thanks as they were set on the table.

Sygnet took a sip and thanked the barmaid who had serviced them. She tipped her a coin for her troubles and then settled into her seat. She attempted to start conversation with Micha, in an attempt to blend in slightly instead of being the dark, brooding strangers as they normally were, "Don't worry. We can go up to bed shortly because this is bothering me too," she admitted, glancing around the people around them.

Micha nodded, his eyes still scanning the crowd in a non-suspicious manner. He finally reminded himself to relax and settled his gaze on Sygnet. "Well... I can tell it's been a while since I have ridden so far on horseback." He chuckled to himself slightly. "I can't remember the last time I was sore from riding a horse."

He notted a few other strangers that entered the tavern and nodded descreatly towards them, point them out in a way to Sygnet as a couple of people who he thought looked a bit out of place. Perhaps it was nothing but they looked... odd.

Sygnet nodded in response to Micha's comment over riding so far. When the door opened, she glanced towards the entrance and smiled slightly at the newcomers. They made her feel a tad uneasy and she gently wrapped her hand tightly around the mug of ale in front of her. She dropped her eyes to the drink and took a big swig.

"Let's hope they don't cause trouble..." she mumbled quietly, just loud enough for only Micha to hear.

"Indeed," Micha concurred. He took a drink as well and diverted his eyes from the strangers as to not seem suspicious. "And if they do let's just stay out of it," he added.

As if to answer their query the strangers walked straight up to the desk and started questioning the tavern manager. It was to soft for Micha to hear but he wondered if Sygnet's elf ears could pick up what was being said. He glanced at her expectingly.

Sygnet's face went white and she looked at Micha, "They are looking for any elves traveling from Lothlorien. They mention something about...a friend of theirs? Gone missing? I can't hear beyond that," she quietly translated to Micha.

"I do believe they are looking for an elf and disguising their questions as queries from worried friends. Micha, they are looking for us," she whispered quietly. It was definitely obvious. How many gruff-looking strangers enter the room looking for elves? Humans and elves don't bother each other.

"The Innkeeper doesn't know of any elves," she continued, "The group is going to stay in town to "wait and see if the elf shows up"." She rolled her eyes.

Micha's face became creased with concern but he wiped the look off his face as soon as he realized it was there. "I'd say we better move on out of here in the morning," he whispered softly, almost a mumble as he took another drink. "We can hang around the outskirts in the country maybe... find a good place to hide. Wait out these 'hunters' and see what a good next move might be."

He wanted to get up and go to their room, but that would look suspicious if they suddenly got up when these strangers entered. They would probably have to sit it out for a while.

Fortunately a bard in the far corner of the room got his lute and started playing some soft music. It served as a slight distraction to Micha's mind and helped him act and feel a little more normal.

Sygnet was grateful for the bard who began to play at an oppertune time. The strangers lingered for a little bit, then went to the corner and sat down at the table farthest from Micha and Sygnet's. She avoided looking at them and instead turned to Micha and struck up casual conversation in order to look more normal.

Micha listened to the bard and talked with Sygnet, he too avoiding looking in the direction of the strangers. The music and conversation helped the setting to seem more normal but Micha always enjoyed music and certainly enjoyed conversing with the women he loved. He almost forgot, for a moment, they were there on business.

Towards the end of the bard's playing Micha gave a sincere yawn and rubbed his forehead a bit, realizing how tired he was once more. A few other ocupants got up to leave and Micha glanced at Sygnet, a look inquiring whether they should retire for the night or stay up to see what might happen.

Sygnet applauded the bard politely as the song ended, "I do believe we should retire. The Inn is just across the street and we can order a room," she stood up and picked up her bag and waited for Micha. The group in the corner was watching them intently, as they were one of the last patrons in the tavern.
