Drake went not far from the camp. Soon he was crouching in the grass, arrow aimed a young buck. It was good sized and could feed him and maybe a few others of the riders.
*Twang*
The arrow hissed in the air and hit it's target in the shoulder. Drake had another arrow in the bucks side before he knew what hit him. When the buck fell, Drake ran over, and used his dagger to cut it's throught to make sure it was dead.

As he hunted he got two rabits, a small deer, and the buck. He returned with the deer over his shoulder, the buck around his neck, and the rabits in his hand. He dropped them by the fire, and started preparing the meat to cook...

(Um, I would be very surprised that he could carry two deer and two rabbits. But hey, what I am doing?! This is fantasy! Have fun!)

Eodern smelled the cooking meat. He had always loved venisen. Kiowa and Thane gazed longinly at the meat, glancing at him only long enough to ask permission to take some. "Oh, for crying out loud." he chuckled.

Meranwen was at the stables and she noticed this young man who looked somewhat like a ranger. She walked over to him and intordieced herself. He tol dher his name was Arune(( don't ask)). He was an elf and had a story similar to Meranwens.

Drake smiled at Eodern's dogs.
"here yeah go.." He threw a small peice to each one. Taking a water skin from his pack he held it up with a stick to make the water inside boil over the fire, then he made a stew with the rabbits, and smoked the deer meat...

((both deers were pretty small. and two rabbits you can hold in one hand... 8) ))

Eodern chuckled slightly as Thane and Kiowa lept forward to snap up the meat. "You act as if i never feed you" He muttered, then looking at Drake he said. "You're just encouraging them." He smiled "They'll never leave you alone now."

Thane sprang forward towards the cat. "Thane" Eodern barked sharply. The dog whined, and sank to his belly. "Get over here" He comanded. Thane kretp over to Eodern, head down. "He doesn't mean any harm to your friend there" Eodern explained. "He just wants to play. I guess running all day got him hyper" Eodern joked. He picked up a staot stick, and threw it. The black dog sprang after it. Kiowa lay by Eodern, head in his lap. She calmly surveyed the setting.

Drake smiled, amused. That cat gently clawed him and gave him a look as if saying, "thats not funny"...

Meranwen and Arune started talking about thier lives and what their favorite things were and such. She found out he was really good with a sword and he was good with a bow but she was better. They decided to teach each other their tricks. Meranwen was sort of liking this Arune guy.

In the deepening shadows of dusk, Wynn noticed a red light in the sky. "Looks like a fire," she said to herself. Riding to the crest of a small hill, she could see the flames and, in the light, the silhouettes of a small company. From what she could see, Wynn judged it was a band of Riders of Rohan. Aching for human company and conversation, she decided to ride down and introduce herself. As she drew nearer, a red-haired man (Drake) stood up and called out a greeting. Wynn, dismounting, grinned at him and said, "I'm Wynn. I don't really have a family and I have nowhere to go. If it's not any trouble, I'd like to travel with you."
