Me, Raven, Nauriel and Elenanna are already playing two or three characters each and I don't want to make anyone play more than that

Actually, the captives are going to be elves, because they were taken from the realm of Mirkwood Elves, if I remember correctly But that's great, all we need now is your citizen of Khand (and if anyone else wants to play a Khand citizen as well they are MORE than welcome, though if you're already playing three characters it's maybe not a good idea )

*Conks self on head* Sorry, I'm tired today. Anyway, moving on, yes, we now have five rescuers, five captives and five citizens of Khand, but just so everyone knows, obviously five men (well, one's a woman) are not gonna go try and bring back elves without some backup. So there will be others, in total maybe a group of twenty or so, but we're specifically playing only five. Hope that makes sense, of a kind. Anyway, here we go. FYI, since Magistra's Khand charrie was the leader of the group before, I guess Rill (mine) is the leader now. If nobody minds

The men got started quickly, satisfied with their relatively quick and painless kidnapping of the five elves. Less than half the day was left, and Rill wanted to make it as far from Mirkwood as possible to avoid any sort of rescuing party coming after them. He knew it was inevitable that there be one, and frankly he could see why - all the captives were fairer, more skilled with weapons and cannier than almost any mortal he'd ever known. Rill allowed himself a grim smile. The price for even one would be exorbitant. He felt no pangs of guilt at the life the enslaved elves would lead - why should he, when they lived in happiness as the people of Khand suffered?

His train of thought was broken as Meleth wearily shifted position in the saddle in front of him, her slender wrists bound tightly to the saddlehorn. She had resisted mightily at being held in such a way but eventually had submitted.

Meleth shot a sideways glance at the others, aching from her uncomfortable position in the saddle in front of Rill. She clenched her teeth, willing herself not to give in, to keep fighting.

Fearan was likewise tied to a horse's saddle. The horse was muscular and stocky. It's coloring was peculular. Patches of black splotched a white coat, and the beast had fierce blue eyes. Despite the situation, Fearan found himself murmuring praises to the beautiful animal. Beside him Korth mounted his own steed, a firery looking bay with the same stocky build.
