When they went to the entrance of Mirkwood, Thranduil was there, waiting for them. "Aralas?" he said, a bit angry, "Can you explain this?" "Uh... Nostariel and Erestia are visiting," she said, trying to sound casual. "And do their parents know about this?" Aralas turned to her friends.

Thrandui raised his eyebrows in disbelief but he let them in. "If anyone from your place comes looking for you, I'll have to leave the explaining and everything to you four," he said firmly. "But, Ada, I..." Legolas protested. Thranduil gave him a look and he stopped. Legolas sighed. Ithilwen looked up at her brother who gave her an angry look. "Well, then, let's go and plan an escape!" Ithilwen whispered. She gestured for her friends to follow her and made a dash for her room, the only private place she knew.
