Ariadne kept her distance. She bloked what attacks she could, and dodged the rest. A few strikes came too close for her liking. She fought back, stabbing her glaive like a spear, then swing it liek an axe, in hopes she could get past Wind's defence.

Wind dodged, stabbed, blocked, and slashed with her sword. She was starting to sweat from the exertion.

Ariadne noticed Wind sweating and hard breathing, about the same as her own. They were both skilled warriors. This would be a very close battle.

"I'm fine." Strethin said hugging her back.
"Are you alright. I lost sight of you." He seated himself oppersite her, his dark eyes gazing into hers.
"I was trying to keep you safe." His eyes turned towards the wooden floor.
"I guess I failed with flying colours didn't I." He said softly.

Nienna touched his hand.
"No you did'nt, you did great out there. Trust me." she replied softly.

He swallowed.
"All the time i've known you I've only wanted to keep you safe. I've failed every time, Nienna." He turned his eyes up, looking anywhere but at Nienna's beautful face.
"Nothing I've done has worked. You can look after yourself. I've found that. Your so strong-willed and passionate. And brave a tallented. You scare me, Nienna. Your not like other girls, I don't feel in control. But when i'm out with other people I can;t get you out of my thoughts."

He paused, it was the most he'd told anyone about his feelings before.
