Adastrea looked at Jardius when he explained the reason for not killing him, "We are friends.." She said softly. When Thinren moved, she stepped back slightly and watched as Jardius tied him up. At the mention of Balor, she hesitated, "How did you know about Balor?" She asked cautiously.

Thinren raised his head again and opened his eyes. He moaned and groaned and looked at the figures. They came into focus and he saw the elf and Adestrea. He moved his arm and looked down at his bounds.
"... Adestrea? What is this? ... ugh... why does my head hurt?"
He gazed at her.
"Adestrea?"

Adastrea looked down at Thinren, fear in her eyes. She quickly blinked and hid all emotion. "WHy did you try to kill me, Thinren?" SHe asked, kneeling down before him.

Jardius looked at Thinren with worried eyes, but turned back at Adastrea.

"I... received another note from Melachor..."

What a horrible lie and what a horrible try, a voice said in Jardius`s head.

Jardius continued without making a big deal of the voice.

"It told about Balor and I saw him on my night walk that I continued... then I knew you were in trouble..."

You think she is that dumb? I made her grow suspicious and I told you all about that didn`t I my curious friend?

Yes, Jardius thought as he sighed and sat down to the ground.

Adastrea looked at Jardius, not believing him. She glanced down at her sword, ready for if anything happened. "WHy do your eyes lie, Jardius?" She asked softly.

Jardius had a totally broken face as he stared seemed like he was ready to burst into tears, he burried his face in his hands and began to whisper.

"I don`t know... I don`t know... he.. whispers to me... not out loud, but... in my head.. he tells me to do things... it is like he is me and I don`t have control... he tells me to lie... but protect... you.."

Adastrea was completely in shock when the elf nearly broke down. She hesitated a moment and crawled over to him, "Protect me?"

Yes, protect her that is why I sent you now tell her that... or dont... she`ll get it on her own... she has to learn all tough this is no test... not for her..

"Yes..."

Jardius whispered with a shattered and trembling voice.

"He wants no harm to you, but he wants to see you free because he knows what it`s like to travel in the dark alone... all alone without your knowledge of your people or seeing them..."

Thinren barely kept up with the convosation. Something about protection. He shook his head and skwinted trying to focus better.
"What's going on? Adestrea?"

She bit her lip slightly, unsure if she should trust Jardius and Melachor. She turned back to Thinren when she heard her name. She really did not know what to say to him after he had tried to kill her. She wasn't sure who she should trust anymore. She should have left when she had the chance.

Thinren sat and looked them both. She seemed to be shifting uneasily and he looked saddened by something. Nothing made any sense any more. He shifted in his seat searching for his dagger in his belt. He found it and quietly began cutting the ropes.
"Adestrea, I have no idea what is going on here, did he hurt you?"

Adastrea looked at the dagger uneasily, then backed away slightly, "No he saved me..." She said quietly. He looked confused and saddened, she didn't understand this. One minute he was trying to kill her, the next he was back to the way he was before.

Thinren broke his bonds and the rope fell to each side of him. He tried to stand up but fell back down, feeling to disorintated to stand by himself.
"Ugh..."
He felt his head throb.

Adastrea hesitated, she wanted to go to him, but now was afraid to trust him. Her heart won out over her mind and she crawled over to him and let his head rest in her lap, hoping he was alright.

*Sen frowned, his hand stopping on the handle of the larder.*
Where has she gotten off to now? I do not sense any danger nearby, so I think she will be alright, for the moment. My lady, would you like some apple cider?

Cora shook her head, "No thank you, though I would like an explination. Who is the elf? And where did they run off to? If she is in as much trouble as I suspect she is, then they should not have gone off alone. An elf with as much skill as she has, I noticed it in her eyes, would not have so much to fear, and she had something to fear, so I do not believe that gondorian could hold off whatever it is after her if she herself fears it."

She sat down and crossed her right leg over her left and continued, "I don't believe it was wise for them to go off on their own. Besides, I ran into a strange cloaked man in the stables, and I didn't like the way he seemed to try and see through my disguise as though he knew something..."
