[Well, I can't exactly remember when you left, but basically we were traveling, all of a sudden we were ambushed by goblins, we fought them off, everyone's okay, and now we're riding to set up camp somewhere else. Is that good enough? That's pretty much all that's happened since we left Rivendell...]

Darrell heard Ellie's question and looked at the spot indicated. "Looks good to me, bit of shelter, flat, grassy. Just the ticket if you ask me"

Melda, who looked about ready to fall asleep in her saddle, yawned and said, "I'd sleep anywhere right now...as long as there's no danger of waking up dead..."

[Okay, thanks!]
Ellethwen looked around her. "I'm fine with it. It looks good enough."

Since everyone agreed on the spot, the group dismounted and, once again, set up camp. People immediately took specific jobs upon themselves such as gathering wood for a fire, or tying up the horses and removing their tack. Gwen was beginning to feel quite settled and relaxed.

Caunion felt a bit useless as he watched others take care of firewood and tents and the such. The only thing he felt he could was heal and fight. He took some of the blankets that he got from Rivendell, laid them down on the floor near his horse, and laid down on it, tired.

Melda began the confusing task of removing her horse's saddle, but was unprepared for how heavy it was and almost dropped it. She hastily righted herself and set it down, and looked bemusedly at the bridle, which she did not know how to remove. She glanced around, wondering if Luthien, who had given her some tips before, was busy. She seemed to know - well, more than Melda did, which wasn't saying much.

Luthien dismounted and busied herself removing Panache's tack. Taking a moment to look around, she noticed Meleth almost drop her horse's saddle. Looping the reins over a nearby bush, Luth wandered over to Meleth with a grin on her face. "You look a little lost there!" She removed the bridle, explaining everything as she did it. "Once you get the hang of it, it's not that hard at all. If you have some rope, I can show you how to make a halter so he doesn't run off in the night."

Melda dug in her saddlebags and came out with a length of rope. She grinned. "I knew I'd want this sooner or later." She watched Luthien make it carefully, making sure she would be able to do it next time, and asked, "Should I just tie him to a tree?"

[Okay, I'm going to have to drop out. I am waaayyy to busy, even if it is summer.
I have to get ready for high school, I've got costume projects to finish, I'm re-vamping my HUGE website, and I'[m also going to start baby-sitting, which will take up more of my time.
it's been fun!]

[Awww, sorry to hear that Ellethwen! It's been fun!]
Larael unsaddled her horse, and took it upon herself to help gether wood for the fire. Many people were already settling down for the night as she picked up a couple of fallen logs to set beside the ever growing pile of wood. Finally, feeling like she had done something right today, she settled herself on the ground and wrapped herself into a blanket. As soon as her eyes had closed, she was asleep.

[Where are we? I'm far behind... again. ]
FaZ sat down on his blanket. He was pretty tired, but still eager to do something. He noticed that the rest is gathering wood for the camp-fire, so he decided to help.

Darrell helped with collecting wood for the fire, making sure they would have enough to keep the fire burning all through the night. After helping light it he settled down to eat a small meal before taking the first watch. he took a chunk of bread and cheese out of his pack, and set to devouring it with suprising voracity.
Whilst most people were still awake he looked around and asked "Any one want to volunteer for the second watch, and any other watches for that matter, so I know who to wake once my turn is over?"

[Not exactly sure either, FaZ]
Gwen placed some of the wood she had gathered by the flames that were already started. She was just eating a "dinner" when she looked up and answered Darrell.
"I'll take the next watch if no one else is dying to."
