[Well my goodness... I'm gone for a week and literally nothing happens. :P I was expecting gobs of pages by now!]

Larael stirred in her sleep and awoke just enough to hear Gwen say she'd take next watch. She roused herself even more and finally sat up. She stretched a bit, and then whispered to Gwen's form in the darkness.
"I'll take the next watch after you if it's needed, just wake me up when it's time."
Then Larael snuggled back down into her blanket to keep off the cold, and closed her eyes again.

Brego had stayed by her horse. She walked over to were her bag was and pulled out the hoodie put it on. She took note of the people around her. Every one had on something that was from middle earth but she was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and now a hoodie that said cougars on it.

(I know what you mean Larael! Somewhat refreshing though.)

Luthien settled down for the night, pulling her banket around her. She had intended to volunteer for the next watch, but the moment she put her head down, it was sweet dreams right away.

Darrell nodded, "Ok Gwen, I'll wake you in a couple of hours" He stoked the fire a little as the others settled down to sleep, keeping his eyes and ears open for anything odd.

[I know, I'd been waiting forever for someone to post :P]

Gwenneth yawned and fell back upon the thin blanket that seperated her from the ground. She lay there for quite a long time, unable to sleep. There were hardly an stars in the sky, but the light from the fire made up for this. She rolled over onto her side, seeing that Luthien was already asleep. With a sigh, Gwen tried desperately to keep her eyes closed and catch some sleep before her turn to watch.

Melda, likewise, could not sleep. She turned restlessly, her gaze ever drawn towards the trees, which looked black and foreboding in the night. She recalled the goblin battle earlier and shuddered, trying unsuccessfully to push it out of her mind. Middle-Earth had not disappointed her in its beauty, but even the minor evil they had seen today had frightened her beyond what she had thought it would.

(Anyone mind if I skip the night? Let's get moving!)

Luthien awoke just as the sun was rising over the treetops by their makeshift camp. She stretched and stood, walking about to warm her stiff limbs. After a few minutes, she noticed a person sitting on watch, so still and quiet she hadn't seen them before. Going towards the figure silently so as not to wake the others, Luth came upon FaZ, sound asleep and still sitting. She smiled and placed her blanket around his shoulders, then went about making some form of Elvish coffee that had been sent with her.

(No offence FaZ dear! ;) )

Melda raised her head sleepily, having gotten to sleep just before dawn. "Goblins attacking..."she murmured, still only half-awake. "Must use ring..." shaking herself, she rubbed her eyes. "That," she said, "was an extremely odd dream. Oh! Do I smell coffee?" She looked incredulously over and grinned. "Do elves have coffee, Luthien?"

Gwenneth was sitting next to Luthien, gazing off into space, unblinkingly, her mouth slightly open. The night had been a dreadful experience, leaving her without a wink of sleep.
I might as well have just kept watch all night, she thought to herself.
Though she could not see it, dark circles were engraved under her eyes which held no sparkle, but a dim light. Her back was slumped against a tree, and her hair was close to a tangled mess from trying over and over to find a comfortable position on the ground.
It was not that Gwen hadn't been tired last night. No, truth be told, she had been exhuasted. But she had always found sleep difficult to grasp in new surroundings. She had layed awake, her neck prickling every once in a while as if something was looming behind her, ready to strike. But every time she had sat up, nothing was there.

But suddenly, Gwen's senses awoke. Her nose had picked up a familiar smell...
Coffee.
Could it be? A sight, taste, and smell so familiar and comforting. She closed her eyes, and breathed in slowly. When her eyes had opened, they fell upon Luthien, who was apparently the maker of this heavenly treat.

"Oh, Luth, you're the best," Gwen croaked.

FaZ was still sleepy. It seemed to be quite early, but some people had already been awoken. He slowly got up and noticed a bright pink, fluffy blanket lying on his chest. He smiled as he surmised who is the blanket's owner. Coming towards a group of his - discussing - friends, he shouted:
"Hmmm... am I still dreaming? I'm sure it's a smell of cofee! But i suppose it's not an ordinary coffee... Ah, by the way..." - He approached to Luthien and passed the blanket to her. - "Thanks darling, you are my goddess!"

[[We should speed up, we haven't reached Rohan yet... We haven't crossed Bruinen yet! :P]]

[^LOL, I know, it's pretty sad :P]

Still feeling like a zombie despite the fact of the brewing coffee, Gwen truthfully answered Ellie.
"No. And you?" Attempting to lay back down.
Feeling too tired to eat and drink much more than some bread and coffee, she went and readied Thalion, guessing that they would make an early start.

Tripping, stumbling and yawning as she went, Gwen retrieved saddle and bridle. She blindly placed and buckled them upon Thalion. Then she looked around to see who else was ready or needed help.

Brego woke, people were getting there horse ready. Her legs were sit sore. She but the saddle on her horse and cheack the grith and finally put the bridle on. She looked around to see that the other were getting ready as well.

Luthien grinned at Melda and Gwen's comments, "They sure do have coffee, and I am glad to oblige." Ellie and FaZ soon joined the girls and Luth poured cups for each of them, "Surprisingly Ellie, I did sleep quite alright. And it was no problem FaZ! You looked cold." She smiled again, but she really couldn't help it, I mean, this was Middle Earth! Luth poured the last of the coffee for the late sleepers and sipped hers before dousing the fire and catching Panache. He was quickly saddled, and Luth let him graze while she cleaned up the camp.

Melda yawned and tried unsuccessfully to do something or other to her hair, which had developed into a frizzy ball around her head, but abandoned the attempt and applied herself to figuring out how to put the saddle back on her horse. She got the bridle on without much trouble, but was at a bit of a loss when she came to the saddle.

[geesh, people, stop worrying about 'not getting anywhere fast', it is not important. Take your time and enjoy each stage of the RP as it comes, be it a battle, or a bit of the story which is mostly dialogue, I mean, it is hard to do dialogue quickly on a forum roleplay, so just chill :D *does hippee impression* Just go with the flow man. :P]

Darrell's watch had passed uneventfully, and as he awoke shortly after dawn undisturbed, he guessed the rest of that night had followed in a similar vein.

He took some of the coffee that Luthien had made, and sipped at it. he wasn't a huge fan of coffee, but felt that something familiar might help him stay more composed.

Then he walked over to where his horse (Who is still lacking a name ) was tied up, getting itself (it doesn't even have a gender yet :P ) some breakfast. Saddling him (Ok, he has a gender now, I picked one) up, he walked him back over to the main camp, where packing was under way. He retrieved his stuff, and looked around to see if anyone else was after some assistance.
