"Ada?" Eldarion walked into his father's study to find it empty. the windows open slightly - they always were.

"Ada..." The prince headed for the conjoined lounge as the others filed in. Dusk had settled in a few minutes ago, and the amber sky was slowly disappearing under a sparkling black sheet of velvet sky.

"Odd..." Eldarion surveyed the area. No candle light, no fire in the hearth, no honey biscuits on the table... No one. And no ada. The curtains flew up slightly as the window crashed against the wall from a sudden gust of wind. "Very odd..."

((oh...here is an idea...involvedment for our two chars! and a plot twist/advancement! ))

Handion looked over at the sleeping (I hope this is okay) Eonera, at her beautiful face shining in the moonlight after he opened the window to let the breeze in. He sat in a chair nearest to her and the window and he looked out it, having a clear view of the Courtyard. It was dark, even with the moonlight, shadows everywhere. He sighed heavily and then he thought he heard something.

Snap!

Handion head twisted around, looking outside. Did something just snap? Like a twig? Or somebody's neck? Handion pushed the second thought away. He looked out, scanning the entire courtyard like he was taught by his father back in Rohan.

Silence. Eerie, eerie silence. The kind of silence that makes your skin crawl. Handion looked down and saw the creator of the noise-making.

A scout. An orc scout.

Handion shook Eonera's shoulder. "Eonera! Eonera, wake up!" He whispered hurriedly.

((wow... gone a long time and not very many posts made. I doudt you did that on purpose, but thanks anyway so I wouldn't get behind!))

Eonera was asleep, having bad dreams. She was almost glad when Handion woke her up. Her eyes fluttered open, and she grabbed his wrists almost out of habbit. She pushed his hands away, still a little asleep, and sat up like she was about to just jump out of bed, but remembered her broken leg.
"What is it?" Eonera asked Handion...

Handion looked outside, glad it was dark for he blushed a deep red when she touched his hands. He coughed and said quietly,

"There is a yrch lurking outside." He said, using the word for orch in Elvish.

"Where outside? How's it get past the guards? Why...?" she stopped when she realized she was still holding one of Handion's wrists. She quickly let go as well as started blushing, also glad for it being dark...
