Aren started to reply, but hearing Nethwen's question held his tongue. He instead continued looking around and staying alert, waiting for Rhan's answer.
Anything she said might help him in some way to figure something out oabout thees men. Maybe by accident she would let something slipp, however unlikely.

Aren glanced back at his siter to be sure she was sticking close, he didn't want her goign off by herself without a weapon when there might be danger in the cave.

Ainawen stuck close to Aren. She hated caves. Absolutely hated them. There weren't every many things that scared her. Dark, closed in places, like caves, was one of the few. But nobody knew that. Nobody, but Aren, of course. She looked at her brother. She was scared....and worst of all, she didn't have a weapon. This was the last place on Earth she wanted to be. But now, she didn't really have a choice.

Ainawen glanced at Rhan. She really didn't trust that girl now. It was OK that she didn't want to say who the men were. That was her business. But now, it was they're business too. And to make things worse, Aren had a thing for her. Ainawen could tell. Anyone else would have had no idea. But that was her brother. Her best friend. Her twin. She knew. And she didn't like it.
She turned to Rhan to see if she would tell them anything about where the heck they were. She tried not to think about the dark, narrow cave that she was in.....
