They rode down towards the strange forest that has appeared when Gandalf came early this very morning. They didn't know where this forest has come from, they didn't know, what the trees have done to the Uruks, but they knew: Something strange was going on in this wood. But the only way from Helm's Deep to the plains of Rohan is to get through this forest!

The small group of three rode closer to the forest. The only way back to Edoras was through the tress. Rinoa was a little confused as to how it suddenly appeared befor them. She thought for a moment and then said ender her breath "So, the ents have awakened."

'Ents?' Simbelmyne said,'I've heard of them, shepherds of trees! They are walking and talking trees, aren't they?' She wasn't sure about this, it was long ago a stranger told her about those creatures.

"You are correct Simbelmyne." Rinoa replied. "They truly are amazing. From what I have herd they have been in Middle-Earth almost is not as long as the elves." She paused for a moment and then said "Well, know we know how the trees got here." followed by a laugh.

Simbelmyne took a deep breath and rode forwards, directly into the forest. It was dark in there, nearly no light shone through the roof of leaves. It was very quiet, only the wind in the branches was heard.

Eruraina and the rest rode into the woods, the only way home. There was an eary feeling. "I can't belive the woods have awakened. From the stories I've heard, they've been sleeping for centuries..."

Rinoa looked at Eruraina. "Yes, from what I have been told. The last time the ents were awake was during the first age of Middle-Earth. I'm sure that there is much we can learn from them." She looked at the trees as they passed them. Everyone continued on thier.

Simbelmyne continued riding through this dark forest. She was still wondering what could have happened to the orcs, there was no sign of them save one orcblade, a bit covered with earth.

Eventually the forest came to an end. The sun was shinning on all those who came out. "Aw, the sun feels good. Not much sunlight came through the trees."
