Luthien watched the others, uncomfortable with the discord. She spoke up softly, "I agree with Elegost. They have not discovered us yet, and we are just as vulnerable here than on a dark road. At the very least we should stay together. There is power in numbers." She looked at Haldir, hoping he would back her up.

Lothwen nodded in respect for Meleth's feelings. She scanned the trees for any sight of an elven flet. Suddenly, her eyes spotted one. "If some of us don't want to fight, I think that will do," she said, pointing to the flet.
