"We all need something of comfort throughout our troubled lives... for me it was to gaze at the stars and imagine living among them, free... now my comfort is found in your presence.." her tone truthful, she lifted her head from his shoulder to smile at him.

Eleshna kissed his cheek gently then rest her head again atop his shoulder, smiling. "It has been so long since I've been able to relax... and it was always dreadful lonesome silence even then... but with you, dear comrade, the moments will never again be dull."

She closed her eyes to the gentle breeze which had begun to blow, pulling hair from her face where it had drifted.

"I know what you mean..." Jaden sympathized. He looked around as the wind began to blow, the trees swaying in the breeze.

"Now instead of worying about my own life I'm gona be worried about you." he mused. "Sorry if at times I seem unreasonible."

Eleshna chuckled softly, "As will I be worried about you, Jaden... only fair I suppose. Otherwise we might end up having an argument over it." She smiled slightly to herself.

Relaxing, relishing the comfort and peacefulness, Eleshna began to drift asleep, a deep restful and undisturbed sleep, her head still rested on Jaden.

Jaden leaned over and kissed her on the forehead before wrapping his coat around her to block the cool wind that was picking up.

Soon he himself drifted of to sleep. Although waking up now and then with thoughts that he had be on guard, he soon after eralizing the reality of the situation driffted back to sleep.

Eleshna slept peacefully through the whole night, more peacefully than she had ever done, neither dream nor threat disturbing her rested thought.

She awoke to the sun streaming across the land as it had just barely risen. Though sore, she was for the most part well rested, keeping still while she merely opened her eyes and smiled towards the welcome sunshine.

Jaden had woken up moments before, stairing into the sunrise with the best feeling insde that he had had in hundreds of years... or thousands... he could realy remember.

Looking over to Eleshna he noticed her open her eyes and wake up. "I ever told you I love you? Because I realy do." he siad softly.

Eleshna stretched for a moment, then sat a little straighter at Jaden's words, looking at him silently for a while. She smiled softly. "You never spoke those words exactly but.... " she blushed slightly, the smile widening as she took his hand, looking in his eyes. "And I love you."

Eleshna nodded and stood, picking up her satchel and placing the pack on Syndar, then mounted the horse. She smiled brightly as she turned northwest, urging Syndar at an easy trot.
