Name: Meleth Elenwen (Beloved Star Maiden)
Gender: Female.
Age: Not known exactly.
Race: Elven
Appearance: Tall, like most elves, with long straight silver hair. Black eyes. Not unusually pretty for an elf, just normal.
History: Meleth's family died in an orc raid when she was small. She carries the grief of their loss with her still and the pain of it has driven her away from her home. She wanders mostly, never having found anywhere to call much of a home.
Personality: Can be snappish. Always secretive, never very friendly to anyone she doesn't know. She cares intensely about the few people she loves.
Weapons: Bow and arrows predominantly, as well as twin knives.
Skills: Anything she tries her hand at she is usually skilled at quite quickly, but she's an excellent tracker and very skilled with weapons.
I might come up with a citizen/rescuer too, but for now, there's Meleth

Name: Atalante Mithivrin
Race: Human, but with a tiny bit of elf somewhere in her lineage.
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Hair: Dark brown, wavy. Not very long, but enough to reach past her shoulders.
Eyes: Brown, quite large.
Facial appearance: Quite pale naturally, with a small straight nose and high cheekbones. Gives the impression of delicacy.
Other appearance: Very slender and not strong.
Personality: Insecure, but gentle and kind. Can be shy and is not very brave.
History: Atalante grew up in Mirkwood, raised by elves, and has no recollection of her family or her previous home. Hence her manner is very Elvish and she is often mistaken for one.
Weapons: A glaive and throwing daggers. She's quite timid with her weapons, usually.
Skills: Excellent spy and can move very quietly.
